On the small island.
Cell's physical transformation continued.
Vegeta saw this and felt nothing amiss, the corners of his mouth beginning to curl upward.
"Damn it, what is going on!"
Trunks could not get close to Cell now and was extremely annoyed.
He began to condense a powerful Ki Blast in his hands.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Orbs of golden light struck Cell's body, but they vanished like stones cast into the sea, causing not a single ripple.
They were blocked directly by the aura radiating from around him.
"Ah!"
Cell let out a loud roar.
His body underwent a complete transformation, a brilliant beam of light shooting straight into the clouds.
The surrounding rubble was crushed into powder, and the ground centered on him sank a full two feet.
About five minutes passed.
As the dust settled, Cell's stature had shrunk to that of a normal adult.
His ugly face had become chiseled, and upon closer inspection, it possessed a wicked, handsome charm.
"Heh, is this what you call evolution?"
Vegeta crossed his arms over his chest and sneered.
He was feeling quite pleased; he hadn't expected Cell to become even stronger.
But this was fine; he would let him suffer the same humiliation he had endured once more.
"Damn it!" Seeing that Cell had completely changed his appearance and knowing he had finished his evolution, Trunks punched the air in frustration!
Cell's current demeanor had become much calmer.
He stared at his own hands, seemingly sensing the power within.
"So this is the Perfect Form? It certainly feels different." Cell examined his body continuously and said indifferently, "Though, it seems something is still missing."
Although his current strength was identical to a normally evolved Perfect Form.
In terms of infinite energy, however, he had lost a great deal.
After all, he only had Android 17 inside him, lacking the infinite energy reactor of Android 18.
Relying on only one energy reactor, he could not sustain such a powerful body while maintaining an infinite energy state.
Vegeta walked slowly to his side and said with a disdainful curl of his lip, "Is this what you call the Perfect Form? It doesn't look all that strong."
Cell moved his brand-new body slightly and said calmly, "I have you to thank for this. If it weren't for you, I might not have succeeded in evolving without Android 18!"
At the same time, he crooked his finger at Vegeta. "How about you help me warm up again?"
Vegeta looked at his indifferent expression, assuming he was merely bluffing.
Since the opponent wanted to warm up so badly, there was no harm in obliging him.
Moreover, it wasn't just Cell whose strength had increased; in fact, Vegeta's own strength had also received a boost.
After all, the Saiyan trait was to become stronger after recovering from the brink of death.
Li Lin had beaten him until he had only one breath left, and after eating a Senzu Bean to recover, his strength had naturally surged.
"Whoosh!"
In a flash of lightning, Vegeta flared his aura and charged.
He swung his fists, launching a fierce assault on Cell.
This time, Cell did not stand there and take a beating like before.
He caught every single one of Vegeta's attacks without missing a beat.
Cell raised his leg to kick, but Vegeta flipped away to dodge, and the two pulled apart a certain distance.
Seeing this, Vegeta unleashed his signature move, the Prince Tactics, and began a barrage of blasts!
"Adadadada!"
Cell dodged continuously, moving from the ground into the air.
Countless light orbs exploded in mid-air.
Vegeta's Ki Blasts were like a machine gun with infinite ammunition, pouring upward incessantly.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
Cell looked at the dense barrage of attacks and simply stopped dodging.
He let the attacks strike his body.
Instantly, the sky was filled with billowing smoke, thick black clouds obscuring his form.
As the attack subsided, the smoke began to clear.
However, Cell had already vanished from the sky.
Vegeta's eyes darted wildly, searching everywhere for a trace of Cell.
"Where are you looking? I'm right here!" Cell's voice rang out from behind Vegeta.
Vegeta hurriedly spun around to look.
A wicked, charming smile played on the corners of Cell's mouth as he said indifferently, "To be honest, you're not much of a sparring partner. Your attacks don't even tickle!"
Upon hearing this, a flicker of rage ignited in Vegeta's heart. He flared his aura, raised both hands, and unleashed countless Ki Blasts.
"A-da-da-da-da!"
The explosions merged into a continuous roar, and the smoke hung in the air, refusing to settle.
"Damn it!" Seeing that Cell was completely unharmed, Vegeta began to grow anxious.
He immediately charged into the smoke to engage Cell in close-quarters combat!
However, it was to no avail. As Cell grew accustomed to his own body, he dodged every single attack with nimble grace.
Suddenly, Cell flashed away, and Vegeta lost sight of him.
By now, Cell had already descended to the ground. He stood with his arms crossed, looking up with disdain at Vegeta, who was flailing about like a headless fly.
His combat power had already far surpassed Vegeta's; the two were no longer beings on the same dimension.
"Father, he's down below!"
Trunks warned anxiously.
He had not expected the gap between his father and Cell to be this vast.
The former was giving his all, while the latter was merely playing around.
"Tch!" Vegeta glared down, gritting his teeth, and dove downward in an instant.
The two clashed once more. Vegeta's iron fists rained down upon him, yet they had no effect whatsoever.
Seeing Cell's relaxed and effortless demeanor, Vegeta felt his pride insulted and roared in a low voice, "Bastard, show me your full power!"
"Heh!" Cell gave a contemptuous smile and said slowly, "As you wish!"
With a sudden flash, his body vanished from sight.
The next second, he appeared behind Vegeta.
Sensing Cell's presence, Vegeta lashed out with a kick, striking Cell squarely in the head.
Cell smiled faintly, seemingly unfazed.
Seeing his attack fail, Vegeta quickly put some distance between them.
By now, he understood the gap between them, and a tremor of fear ran through his heart.
Trunks watched from the sidelines, his heart aching.
He desperately wanted to step in and help, but he feared wounding Vegeta's pride.
Because he now understood exactly what kind of man his father was.
It seems I can only wait until Father loses consciousness before I deal with Cell, Trunks thought silently to himself.
His training results from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber were far greater than they appeared.
Subconsciously, he had always believed that his own strength had already surpassed Vegeta's.
He had simply kept it hidden out of respect for his father's arrogant heart.
On the battlefield, Vegeta stood frozen in place.
Seizing the opportunity, Cell rushed forward and delivered a kick that sent him flying into the ocean.
"Damn it!" Vegeta slowly crawled out of the seawater.
Seeing this, Trunks was filled with fury, his muscles bulging and expanding.
Yet, he remained steadfast in his resolve: he must wait until his father lost consciousness before joining the fight!
