Babidi and Dabura stared in utter bewilderment, watching the five of Son Goku playing rock-paper-scissors with blank expressions.
Pui Pui looked at the five of them in astonishment. What the hell are you guys doing? I'm right here!
Cold sweat drenched the Supreme Kai's forehead. This is the true demeanor of experts. My Super Saiyans are truly formidable.
"I'll go first," Trunks said, casting a hostile glare at Pui Pui. Pui Pui looked blankly at him, wondering why he was being stared at like that—he wasn't into men.
"Hmph, sending a brat out? You guys really are trash," Pui Pui sneered, looking at the three people behind Trunks (the protagonist was ignored due to his height).
What a moron. That was the only thought shared by the four Saiyans. Young man, posturing comes with risks.
"Hmph," Trunks snorted coldly, feeling slighted.
"Whoosh!"
Trunks turned into a blur, appearing silently before Pui Pui as if he had teleported.
"Nani?"
"Bam!"
Before Pui Pui could even register his shock, he was sent flying by Trunks' sudden punch. Trunks then chased after the airborne Pui Pui and delivered another kick, launching him high into the air.
Pui Pui steadied himself against the wall of the spaceship, staring at Trunks' small figure in disbelief.
"No... impossible. I, actually being beaten back by a brat?" Pui Pui clenched his fists, a sense of humiliation washing over him. "This is an absolute disgrace."
"Idiot," Trunks looked coldly at the unwilling Pui Pui. With a moron like this, I don't even need to turn into a Super Saiyan. I could take ten of him.
"Brat, you've angered me!" Pui Pui roared. He kicked off the wall with all his might, his body shooting toward Trunks like a rocket.
Trunks glanced at Pui Pui with contempt, sidestepped the charge, grabbed Pui Pui by the leg, and slammed him violently into the ground.
"Bam!"
"Ah!" Pui Pui screamed as his face hit the floor. Son Goten felt a phantom pain in his own face, though he figured Trunks had done the guy a favor by giving him a bit of plastic surgery.
In the control room, Babidi stared, dumbfounded, as Trunks pummeled Pui Pui. The sight of Pui Pui's face hitting the floor made his own face ache.
"What is going on? How could Pui Pui be completely helpless against that brat?" Babidi couldn't suppress the stormy waves in his heart. He could have accepted being beaten by the adult Saiyans, but being thrashed by an eight or nine-year-old child? What kind of situation was this?
"This... it might be because the spaceship's space is too small, affecting Pui Pui's performance. That brat's small body has an advantage here," Dabura defended, sounding somewhat weak.
Babidi, not wanting to lose face, accepted Dabura's explanation and asked, "In what environment can Pui Pui exert his maximum advantage?"
Dabura thought for a moment and replied, "The high-gravity planet, Zun."
"Good," Babidi spread his hands and rotated them over the crystal ball. "Babidi-bu!"
The sudden change in environment forced Trunks, who was enjoying beating up Pui Pui, to stop. Pui Pui took advantage of Trunks' distraction to put some distance between them.
"What's going on?" Son Gohan asked in surprise at the sudden environmental shift.
"It's Babidi's magic. It must be an environment favorable to that man," the Supreme Kai said, his light purple face covered in cold sweat.
Pui Pui's face was covered in blood, but he didn't care, laughing triumphantly instead. "Hahaha! This is my home planet, Zun! The gravity here is ten times that of Earth!"
The Saiyans looked at Pui Pui with expressions of "caring for the mentally disabled." A mere ten times? Planet Vegeta had gravity like this; did he think there was a difference?
"Moron," Trunks said coldly. My dad doesn't even train in anything less than a hundred times gravity. "With just this much gravity, I don't feel a thing."
Hearing Trunks' indifferent tone and seeing his contemptuous gaze, Pui Pui exploded. "Stop bluffing!"
Pui Pui screamed and charged recklessly at Trunks. Trunks glanced at him dismissively and knocked him down with a single punch.
"You're so weak. Just surrender," Trunks said, walking up to Pui Pui.
Pui Pui, clutching his stomach, never expected Trunks to approach without any defenses. A sly smile crept across his lips, though he begged, "I'm sorry, I was wrong."
Trunks was only eight, after all; he hadn't seen such deceitful tactics and assumed Pui Pui had turned over a new leaf. "Forget it, you can go."
Sensing Trunks had let his guard down, Pui Pui was overjoyed and shouted, "Die, brat!"
"Bam!"
"Puh-wah!"
Caught off guard, Trunks was struck in the abdomen by Pui Pui's sudden strike and spat out bile.
"Trunks!" the five of them shouted.
The sudden turn of events panicked the group; that single blow had added another tenth of the energy needed for Majin Buu.
"Bastard!" Trunks glared ferociously at Pui Pui, who was rushing over to deliver a follow-up kick. "Die!"
Trunks raised his hand and fired an energy wave without mercy, instantly obliterating him.
"Gaga-ga."
Because Trunks had finished off Pui Pui, a passage opened in the floor.
"You were too careless, Trunks. Against an opponent like that, you should have finished him off immediately," Vegeta lectured, looking at Trunks with a sense of "iron not becoming steel." He was very dissatisfied with Trunks' behavior; if he had been the one fighting, he would never have given the opponent a chance to breathe.
"I'm sorry, Father," Trunks said, lowering his head in apology.
Son Goku waved his hand, interjecting, "Let it go, Vegeta. Trunks is still young, and he's never seen an opponent like that before."
"Hmph," Vegeta snorted, taking the lead into the passage. The first hurdle was cleared.
