Uchiha Kangetsu gathered power through the Fourth War, manipulated Obito and Madara, and took control of the Sage of Six Paths’ chakra. After reviving the dead to nourish his God Tree, he revealed that he had also weakened Kaguya Otsutsuki and was draining her power.

• The Allied Shinobi Forces suffered devastating losses to the reanimated Kage and Uchiha Madara, while Orochimaru and Kabuto’s plans collapsed and Kangetsu summoned Madara to the battlefield.
• Kangetsu confronted Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, and the Sage of Six Paths, took Naruto’s and Sasuke’s inherited chakra, and revealed that Obito had been created as Meigetsu’s successor.
• Obito became the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki, but Kangetsu subdued him, removed the tailed beasts, and let Madara absorb the Ten-Tails as the God Tree grew stronger.
• Kangetsu absorbed the Sage of Six Paths’ power, revived Asura, Indra, and the Sage under his control, then used Black Zetsu to revive countless dead people and leave Madara’s Rinnegan behind.
• Kangetsu fought Kaguya Otsutsuki across dimensions and revealed that he had controlled her since her resurrection and reduced her power by reviving Madara and planting a seed in the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Kaguya’s power rapidly drained as Kangetsu explained that the seed had split the God Tree within her and exhausted the half she controlled.
