Vegeta had nothing to hide about his Immortal Body.
Angels knew everything.
Kusu probably already knew the secret of my Immortal Body.
Sure enough, after Vegeta said this, he noticed that Kusu, who was holding him in front of her, didn't react at all.
It seemed she had known all along.
"So that's what it is. You have an Immortal Body." Rumsshi snorted, though he wasn't particularly surprised. "Actually, an Immortal Body is pretty useless for a God of Destruction! You're an Apprentice God of Destruction now, so you should know that Gods of Destruction have eternal life too. Once you become a God of Destruction, your life will be eternal."
"Mm, I know." Vegeta nodded.
"As for an Immortal Body, there's no need for one." Rumsshi replied, "As long as you're strong enough, your body will never disappear. What you need to hone is your soul. I'm sure you know that battles between Gods of Destruction shake your soul! If your soul is destroyed, then even with an Immortal Body, you'll disappear all the same."
"I understand all that. I just want an Immortal Body," Vegeta replied.
Rumsshi: "..."
"Why won't this kid listen to reason?" Rumsshi's face darkened.
"Just tell me if you agree or not." Vegeta smiled. "If you agree, I'll go with you to another universe and show off. I'll make sure you get to show off too!"
Rumsshi suddenly felt that there was something... strange about the way Vegeta had put that.
What did he mean by making sure I got to show off?
"Ahem... Which universe did you say the Super Dragon Balls were in?" Rumsshi asked.
"I heard they're scattered throughout the space between Universe 6 and Universe 7," Vegeta said.
"Universe 6 and Universe 7!" Rumsshi gritted his teeth, feeling a little annoyed.
Those wouldn't be easy to find.
Going to Champa and Beerus's universes to look for the Dragon Balls...
If no one noticed, everything would be fine.
But if they did, it would be nothing but trouble.
"Kusu, what do you think?" Rumsshi asked her.
"Mm, Yuanfang, what do you think?" Vegeta asked from behind Kusu.
Kusu: "????"
"Who's Yuanfang?" Rumsshi asked, taken aback.
"It doesn't matter," Vegeta replied.
Rumsshi: "..."
"Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, is currently asleep, so the Super Dragon Balls in Universe 7 should be relatively easy to find," Kusu replied.
"Oh? That guy Beerus is still sleeping? He's been asleep for over ten years, hasn't he?" Rumsshi asked, slightly surprised.
"Yes." Kusu nodded.
"I think we can do it. That guy Champa will be much easier to deal with," Rumsshi said thoughtfully.
"So you agree?" Vegeta grinned brightly.
"Fine. You've made showing off more fun for me, so I'll agree to help you look for the Super Dragon Balls." Rumsshi nodded.
"Deal!" Vegeta said.
"Then... Kusu, let's head to Universe 11 right now." Rumsshi chuckled, then turned to Vegeta. "But are you confident you can beat the Apprentice God of Destruction in Universe 11?"
"Hmph, you'll see when we get there." Vegeta looked unconcerned.
It was just Toppo, the Apprentice God of Destruction.
If I couldn't even beat him, then all twelve years I'd spent training would have been for nothing.
"Good. Let's set off right away." Rumsshi suddenly grew eager. "I've never liked that guy Belmod."
"Who else do you dislike? I'll help you take care of them too," Vegeta replied.
"I also don't like Beerus of Universe 7. Go take care of him," Rumsshi said.
"Mm, I'll remember that." Vegeta nodded. "I'll take care of him sooner or later. Consider it repayment for all the years you've taught me."
Rumsshi felt a little touched.
"Kid, looks like all those years of caring for you weren't wasted." Rumsshi laughed.
Without any hurry, Vegeta pulled out the little notebook from earlier and checked the number on it.
80060!
"Mm, it really wasn't wasted," Vegeta said, nodding.
"Why did you take out that little notebook again?" Rumsshi asked, puzzled. "Come to think of it, the number in there hasn't changed in ages."
"It doesn't matter." Vegeta put the notebook back into his Storage Ring.
Kusu sighed softly beside them.
Lord Rumsshi, do you still not know what that number means?
Vegeta's up to something.
One day, you're going to cry...
Never mind. This is a matter between Gods of Destruction. It has nothing to do with me, an Angel.
At least Vegeta should only be able to surpass Gods of Destruction, right?
He's still a long way from surpassing an Angel.
But... his Angel Power is growing way too fast.
"Let's go!" Rumsshi called out, leading the way toward Universe 11 as he flew along, humming a tune.
Kusu carried Vegeta along behind him.
On the way, Rumsshi also taught Vegeta how to destroy several planets.
They were all things he could do with a wave of his hand.
It was just work.
Rumsshi noticed that Vegeta was quite enthusiastic about destroying planets, and suddenly felt that taking on such a disciple was a good thing.
At least I don't have to do the work myself.
I couldn't be bothered to go destroy those planets anyway.
Having a disciple to help destroy planets really saves me a lot of trouble.
About four hours later,
the three of them had reached the edge of Universe 10.
Beyond that lay the empty expanse of the World of Void.
"Whoosh!"
The three of them became two streaks of different-colored light and entered the World of Void in an instant.
They flew through the World of Void for about three more hours.
"Pop!"
Vegeta and the others left the World of Void and entered the territory of Universe 11.
Another two hours passed.
Vegeta could now make out the inverted-triangle God of Destruction Realm in the distance.
"We'll be there soon." Rumsshi grinned. "Vegeta, I hope you don't embarrass me."
"Hmph, if you're worried I'll embarrass you, then go fight him yourself." Vegeta snorted.
Rumsshi fell silent, wishing he could smack Vegeta flying with a single slap.
This kid was getting less and less respectful.
Universe 11, God of Destruction Realm.
Belmod, the God of Destruction of Universe 11, stood on the planet, staring blankly up at the sky.
The Angel Marcarita stood silently beside him.
"Lord Belmod, have you really decided to retire after a while?" Marcarita asked.
"That's right. I've had enough of being a God of Destruction." Belmod sighed. "After all, I've been a God of Destruction for tens of millions of years... It's really quite boring. The only thing I do is go out and destroy planets."
