Background / History

Qiusheng is one of Uncle Nine's long-serving disciples and a senior brother to Fei Luo. When Fei Luo awakens after being injured by an evil spirit, Qiusheng credits him with saving both himself and Wencai from harm. He also silences Wencai for speaking ominously about Fei Luo's condition, showing immediate concern for his junior brother. 1

Despite more than a decade of cultivation, Qiusheng's progress is modest compared with Fei Luo's sudden rise. Fei Luo's perfected Qi Guiding Art shocks him, as Qiusheng needed ten years to master the same art. Uncle Nine subsequently uses Fei Luo as an example while reprimanding Qiusheng and Wencai for their laziness. 5

During Old Master Ren's zombie incident, Qiusheng is injured alongside Uncle Nine and Wencai. He is sent to purchase pure glutinous rice to treat corpse poison, but the errand leads to his encounter with Dong Xiaoyu. 14 15

Personality

While buying glutinous rice, Qiusheng meets Dong Xiaoyu and escorts her home after falling for her staged plea for help. She drains his yang essence through intimacy, leaving him exhausted and afflicted by ghostly influence. 16 17

Ignoring Uncle Nine and Fei Luo's warnings, Qiusheng returns to Dong Xiaoyu and agrees to become her live-in husband. Fei Luo confronts him at the ghost wedding and uses the Soul Capture Art to reveal that the wedding guests, feast, and mansion are all ghostly illusions. 20 21

Terrified by Dong Xiaoyu's true rotting face and the horde of ghosts under her command, Qiusheng relies on Fei Luo for protection. Fei Luo orders him out of the courtyard before facing the hundred ghosts and Dong Xiaoyu alone. 21 22

Justice Manor Zombie Attack
