Ren Tingting is Master Ren's daughter and a young woman of the Ren Family in Ren Family Town. She meets Fei Luo at her father's Western-style café appointment with Uncle Nine, where his appearance, composure, and considerate ordering immediately leave an impression on her. Master Ren likewise considers Fei Luo a promising prospective son-in-law. 6 7

She actively seeks Fei Luo out at Justice Manor and invites him to her home. When he initially declines in order to study the Dao, Tingting refuses to be discouraged; she insists on accompanying him, ultimately spending the day with him in town and at the Ren Family Villa. Fei Luo notices an unusual trace of yin energy around her during this visit. 8 9

During Old Master Ren's reburial and subsequent transformation into an Iron Corpse, Tingting consistently stands by Fei Luo. She seeks his protection after witnessing the coffin disturbance and watches anxiously as he fights her undead grandfather. 10 12 14

After Fei Luo saves the Ren family from Old Master Ren and later exposes A-Wei's crimes, Tingting's admiration develops into reverence for him as a protector.
