Konrad Curze had never imagined that time could pass so quickly.

Fourteen days—had they simply gone by like that?

This rare period of study had been an immensely fulfilling experience for him. He had only lost focus once, and never again after that.

Fulgrim had even tested whether Karyl had said something to him, telling Curze that he did not need to take it quite so seriously. But Konrad Curze had merely smiled and denied it.

Konrad Curze nodded silently. At such an important moment, he had no idea what he ought to say. He had many things he wanted to say, yet not a single word could leave his mouth.

Other than the primarchs, no one else remained on the deck. Curze did not know whose order that had been, but he could guess.

But why did you still choose not to appear at a time like this?

He pressed his lips together and nodded. Fulgrim smiled and patted his own chest. He was no longer dressed in the purple gauze he had once loved, instead wearing a neat and practical outfit, with a heavy notebook in hand.

"When we meet again, I'll tell you what I named it. How about that?" Fulgrim asked with a wink.

"Alright."

Ferrus Manus stepped forward with a smile.
