"Captain, we've brought him here."
Morishita Yamato didn't stop his shooting practice; he held the basketball in both hands, his gaze locked firmly on the hoop.
Miyamoto Masami was fiddling with her phone while holding a milk tea. Hearing this, she glanced up, her eyes brightening slightly. "He's actually quite handsome, isn't he?"
Fang Cheng suddenly felt that differences in aesthetic taste weren't such a bad thing; at least this woman had an eye for quality.
"Clang!"
Morishita Yamato launched a three-pointer that hit the center of the rim.
He then walked to the side to grab a towel and wipe off his sweat, speaking in a nonchalant tone. "Fang Cheng, someone saw you meeting with Kanzaki-san today, right?"
Fang Cheng wasn't particularly surprised; he had already guessed it might have something to do with Kanzaki Rin.
He smiled. "I did meet her. Is there a problem?"
Morishita Yamato tossed the towel aside and turned to face Fang Cheng. "What is your relationship?"
Fang Cheng answered truthfully. "There is no relationship. We just happen to know each other."
"Oh? And how did you come to know each other?"
"We go to the same school. Isn't it normal to know one another?"
"Normal?"
The corners of Morishita Yamato's mouth curled up, revealing a truly terrifying smile.
"Do you have any idea how many people want to know her but can't?"
He stepped toward Fang Cheng, bringing with him a palpable sense of oppression.
An average student would likely have had their legs turn to jelly by now. The two basketball club members holding Fang Cheng's arms gripped tighter, bracing for him to struggle or flee out of fear.
Morishita Yamato stopped in front of Fang Cheng, looming over him, his voice dark. "I don't care what kind of blind luck you had to meet her, but from this moment on, you are not to go near Kanzaki-san again. You are not to say another word to her. Do you understand?"
He understood perfectly well. This was a naked threat, and one that left no room for negotiation.
Fang Cheng nodded in complete agreement. "Of course, I fully agree with your proposal. But there's no point in telling me this; you need to go tell Kanzaki Rin."
If he could truly stay away from Kanzaki Rin, Fang Cheng would be more than happy to, but the problem was that Kanzaki Rin wouldn't stop clinging to him. This gorilla had picked the wrong target.
Unfortunately, Fang Cheng's sincere reply was seen by Morishita Yamato as an excuse.
Was he implying that Kanzaki Rin was the one pestering him?
There should be a limit to how shameless one could be.
Morishita Yamato hadn't expected that among the ordinary students, there would be someone who dared to defy his will to his face.
In that moment, he seemed like a provoked beast; his eyes revealed a fierce glint, and his aura shifted entirely.
Fang Cheng didn't feel much, but the two men beside him tensed up in fear. They had seen Morishita Yamato lose his temper before—he had even dared to beat up the P.E. teacher.
"Why waste your breath on him?"
Miyamoto Masami, watching the spectacle and hoping for more excitement, giggled as she suggested, "Just give him a good beating, and he'll be obedient."
Morishita Yamato clearly agreed with his girlfriend's suggestion. He casually stripped off his jersey, revealing a set of robust muscles, and deliberately flexed his pectorals.
He loved showing off his powerful physique to others, especially enjoying the look of fear and the sight of people trembling before him.
Although Fang Cheng hadn't shown any signs of fear since the beginning, many of the people Morishita Yamato had beaten had also acted tough at first.
But in the end, those people would always end up wailing and begging for mercy under his fists.
"Wait a second, I have something to say."
Fang Cheng gave a light tug, and the two men on either side let go, not worried that he could escape.
Fang Cheng had no intention of running. He took two steps forward until he was right in front of Morishita Yamato. The height difference between them was nearly a head and a neck, and the disparity in their builds made them look like an adult and a minor from a distance.
"Are we really going to do this?"
Fang Cheng's tone was resigned. He had a pile of trouble waiting for him outside, and he really didn't want to cause a scene at school.
Besides, since their goals were clearly the same, why did they have to resort to conflict?
"What do you think?"
Morishita Yamato reached out to grab Fang Cheng's shoulder, his tone vicious. "A piece of trash like you wants to get close to Kanzaki-san... Ah!!"
Before he could finish his sentence, Morishita Yamato let out a sudden, sharp cry. His body doubled over, and his eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets.
Fang Cheng had unexpectedly slammed his knee hard into Morishita Yamato's crotch.
There was no sound of shattering, but Morishita Yamato's scream was genuine; no matter how strong a man was, he couldn't train that vital area to be as hard as steel.
The other three were stunned, never having imagined that Fang Cheng would take the initiative to attack while completely outnumbered.
While they were still in shock, Fang Cheng followed up with a headbutt, slamming it hard into Morishita Yamato's lowered head.
Fang Cheng held nothing back with this strike, putting every ounce of his strength into it.
He had to take out Morishita Yamato—the strongest and most dangerous of them—before he had any chance of winning.
It was also due to Morishita Yamato's own carelessness in letting Fang Cheng get so close that the sneak attack had succeeded.
"Bang."
With a crisp sound of impact, Morishita Yamato was sent reeling, his face covered in blood and his nose crooked to one side.
He couldn't even let out a scream, his massive frame toppling backward.
The muscles he took such pride in were useless here; the sneak attack had struck his two most vulnerable points.
Fang Cheng's own forehead was gashed, his body swaying as he nearly suffered a concussion from the blow.
Yet, compared to the fallen Morishita Yamato, Fang Cheng's concussion and injuries healed in the blink of an eye.
"You bastard!!"
Two members of the basketball club finally snapped out of their shock, roaring as they lunged at him in unison.
Fang Cheng spun around quickly, launching himself at the member on the left with another Rocket Headbutt.
The opponent never expected Fang Cheng to use such a suicidal, trade-blows tactic; panicked and unable to dodge, their heads collided with a sickening crunch, blood spraying everywhere.
Amidst a sound like stones smashing together, both men collapsed.
Fang Cheng felt dizzy, his face and head slick with blood—some his, some his opponent's—while the other man was already curled into a ball on the ground, clutching his head.
The remaining basketball club member was stunned, unable to process how his leader and comrade had fallen in the blink of an eye.
Was this guy suicidal?
But soon, anger overcame his cowardice; he walked over, hauled Fang Cheng up from the ground, and slammed a heavy punch into his stomach.
"Baka yaro, you bastard, how dare you do this!!"
He cursed, raining punch after punch into Fang Cheng's gut.
"Smack!"
As the final punch landed, his hand couldn't pull back; Fang Cheng had caught it in a vice-like grip.
Fang Cheng looked up, a smile spreading across his face: "That hurts, you know. Are you done yet?"
His face was a mask of blood, his grin like that of a vengeful ghost, making the man's heart tremble with terror.
Fang Cheng repeated his previous tactic, driving a knee violently into the man's crotch: Fatal Nutcracker.
The man doubled over, his mouth hanging wide open, unable to let out a single sound.
Fang Cheng cupped the man's head with both hands and delivered a brutal Rocket Headbutt, hammering him face-first into the ground.
It wasn't that he liked using this move, but with his current strength, his fists couldn't inflict any real damage on these muscle-bound brutes; only by targeting their weaknesses could he win.
In the blink of an eye, three brawny men lay on the ground, leaving only Fang Cheng standing as the sole victor.
He felt no pride, however; without the regenerative power of his immortality, he would have been lying right there beside Morishita Yamato after that first headbutt.
