• At midnight, the ruined town and its dead residents reappeared as they had been half a century earlier, and Fang Cheng discovered the town was isolated by a Subspace rift.

After Isis deduced that Richard might remain within Centralia Town when he escaped, Fang Cheng tracked him across the town and pursued him again, hoping to follow him to another point in time.

• Fang Cheng and Isis failed to catch Richard during the town’s renewal, and Richard escaped again when Underground Fire appeared in the mine.
• Richard refused to give up Mother's Body or explain Centralia Town, and his escape triggered Underground Fire to consume the town before Dulu and the investigators could resume their hunt.

• After hundreds and then thousands of trips, Richard taunted Fang Cheng and Isis, claiming they would never catch him and threatening to return to the beginning.

• Richard explained that the David Cult had summoned an Evil God in the Mine, causing his mother’s body to destroy Centralia Town and enclose it in a time loop using his ability.

• Li Yu and Kanzaki Rin watched footage of the Heavenly Gate in Jerusalem and grew alarmed when they could not reach Fang Cheng.
• Plate began the Final Judgment, sacrificing his power to open the Heavenly Gate and cutting Jerusalem off from communications and surveillance.

After escaping Centralia Town, he learned that the Heavenly Gate had appeared in Jerusalem while the gate beneath the sea was also acting up, and he headed for Jerusalem to find the Pestilence Knight.

• Fang Cheng watched a memory in which General Nuoya received orders from the Archon to destroy the Prison’s Anchors, including the one on Earth, then departed on her mission.
• Fang Cheng realized the Fallen were Evil Gods, the Subspace was their Prison, and Earth was one of its Anchors; Isis then tasted his blood and tried to persuade him to let her bite him again.
• Fang Cheng left Centralia Town and told Isis to investigate the Pestilence Knight before flying away.

Fang Cheng arrived in Israel and saved Beit Shemesh from a monster horde before confronting Pestilence Knight Plate in Jerusalem. As Plate tried to delay him while the Heavenly Gate opened, Fang Cheng struck first and tore out Plate’s heart.

• Fang Cheng swept Beit Shemesh with a Blood Net, killing a million monsters and rescuing the surviving people.
• Fang Cheng reached Jerusalem, where he and Plate recognized that both knew the truth about the prisoners and the Evil God.
• Fang Cheng asked Izanae whether she could close the Heavenly Gate, and she said he first had to defeat Plate.
• Plate summoned his white horse and attacked Fang Cheng with pestilence and arrows while the Heavenly Gate continued opening.

Fang Cheng battled Pestilence Angel, who wielded the powers of all four Horsemen and gained strength from Heavenly Gate. After discovering a possible way to counter him, Fang Cheng returned to face the Angel, whose Divine Eye declared that Fang Cheng was destined to fail.

• Fang Cheng killed Plate and destroyed the Holy Land with a nuclear blast, but Heavenly Gate survived.
• Pestilence Angel emerged from Heavenly Gate, and Fang Cheng learned that he could use the other three Horsemen’s powers to attack, regenerate, and resurrect.
• Pestilence Angel discovered Fang Cheng’s soul was vulnerable and struck it with an arrow that pursued him into subspace.

• Li Yu swam into the Seabed Rift, found the Undersea Base in ruins, and saw that the door had opened.
• Song Mei redirected the sudden typhoon while the fleet fought off monsters emerging from the sea.
• Li Yu returned to the fleet and told Li Jianbin, Wang Mingde, and Song Mei to prepare to detonate the nuclear warheads.

Tsukimi Mei revealed that she had taken control of Asaka Akie and Ye Yuqing and tried to recruit Kanzaki Rin to leave Earth aboard the spaceship. When Kanzaki Rin resisted, their fight drew the team together, and a disguised Izanae appeared as Fang Cheng before time stopped and an unknown woman intervened.

• Tsukimi Mei, disguised as Asaka Akie, told Kanzaki Rin that Earth was doomed and asked her to leave with Fang Cheng and Ye Yuqing aboard the spaceship.
• Kanzaki Rin realized Tsukimi Mei had taken control of Asaka Akie and Ye Yuqing, refused to hand over the spaceship, and fought them beyond Machine City.
• Oni Yunjie led the team to the battle, where Kanzaki Rin revealed Tsukimi Mei's control of the two women and asked for help capturing her.
• A figure disguised as Fang Cheng appeared, tried to grab Kanzaki Rin, and was exposed as Izanae after Tsukimi Mei addressed her by name.

Yaoguang stopped Izanae from taking Fang Cheng and General Nuoya’s body, then joined Kanzaki Rin to hold Izanae off. Fang Cheng reunited with Nuoya’s soul in her mental world and learned how she had restored herself and what his system was, before asking her to explain everything that had happened.

• Yaoguang appeared and refused to let Izanae take Fang Cheng or General Nuoya’s body, so Izanae attacked her and Kanzaki Rin.
• Yaoguang entered Kanzaki Rin’s body, and Rin recovered her memories of Yaoguang’s role as humanity’s mother and fought to survive Izanae’s assault.
• Fang Cheng waited in Izanae’s pavilion until the pain from Isis’s bite transported him to a bar, where he met Nuoya’s soul.

Nuoya explained the origins of the Star Spirits, the Star Devourers, and the inter-universe war that caused the Prison in Subspace to break open. She revealed that Earth was the Prison’s final Anchor, guarded by Yaoguang, and that her lingering soul had sought someone to inherit her power and destroy Earth.

• Nuoya told Fang Cheng that Star Spirits arose from planetary civilizations and that Yaoguang was once Earth's guard, Malan.
• Nuoya explained that Star Spirits who devoured their own kind became Star Devourers and were imprisoned in Subspace after a civil war.
• Nuoya described how the Star Spirits' passage to another universe triggered an invasion, destabilizing Subspace and allowing Star Devourers to escape.
• The Star Spirit Alliance ordered Nuoya to destroy the Prison's Anchors, and she reached Earth gravely wounded after destroying many others.
