Vegeta's Crushing Defeat! Goku Appears

Under Hit's powerful assault, Vegeta was left without the slightest ability to fight back!

Everyone was breaking out in a cold sweat, especially the companions from Universe 7, as Super Saiyan Blue was the most powerful form they had ever seen! Aside from the God of Destruction, no one had ever been able to win against it; they never expected that even Super Saiyan Blue would be unable to contend with Hit. Just how strong was he?

Goku asked Luya, "Can you see Hit's movements clearly?"

Luya shook his head, "Not clearly for the moment, but his attacks have already transcended time!"

"Transcended time?!" Goku was puzzled, clearly hearing this for the first time.

"Luya is right; Hit's power does indeed transcend time! However, this is not a power inherent to him, but something he has cultivated—in other words, his skill. To put it simply, he can predict his opponent's movements 0.1 seconds into the future, allowing him to use time to slip into another parallel space. That is why Vegeta's attacks are ineffective against him!" Whis suddenly explained.

Beerus cast a faint glance at Luya, "You certainly know quite a lot, don't you!"

Luya smiled slightly and replied, "I can only say that I am well-read."

Beerus: "..."

"Luya, since you know about this skill of his, is there any way to break it?" Goku inquired.

Luya thought for a moment, then looked at Goku and said, "Hit's attack is called Time Skip. It means that the moment before you strike him, he can dodge into another space. His body is still there in reality, but you cannot touch him, while he can deliver a fatal blow to you in the next second! If you want to break it, you have no choice but to predict his prediction!"

Hearing this, Goku fell silent.

Whis and Beerus exchanged a look, their expressions quite grave, for they realized that this fellow named Luya seemed to be growing more and more mysterious! He even knew about the Time Skip!

"Whis, could a person like this appear given the level of civilization in our universe?" Beerus asked with some doubt.

Whis shook his head, "I don't know, but generally speaking, it's impossible. I have no idea about his origins either!"

Beerus fell silent, then looked at Luya, his eyes narrowing slightly.

On the field, Vegeta was still struggling bitterly. He had put some distance between himself and Hit, but the opponent's attacks were truly too bizarre; he hadn't even been able to see the movements clearly! It was as if the opponent had been right in front of him the whole time, and the one in the distance was merely an afterimage.

Even stranger was the fact that Vegeta couldn't touch the opponent's body. Just when it looked like he was about to land a hit, he would pass right through the opponent's body and end up being brutally beaten instead!

"Vegeta... lost?" The members of Universe 7 were all in disbelief, their mouths parched.

Goku's expression turned grave; he truly hadn't anticipated this move from his opponent!

Luya closed his eyes slightly. He wasn't surprised by the result, but he felt it was a pity. In terms of raw combat power, Hit wasn't much stronger than Vegeta, but Hit's ability to use Time Skip had caught Vegeta off guard!

In this state, Vegeta was simply no match for him.

"Contestant Vegeta of Universe 7 has fallen! Contestant Hit of Universe 6 is the winner!" With the referee's call, the duel ended.

Hit glanced at Vegeta and said, "You are the first person to take so many of my punches and not die!"

Having said that, he turned and walked away.

Vegeta's expression was grim, but he was unable to stand up.

Goku appeared beside Vegeta and carried him back to the spectator stands.

Bulma hurriedly asked Krillin for a Senzu Bean and fed it to Vegeta.

After consuming the Senzu Bean, Vegeta was fully restored, though his expression remained somber and somewhat defeated.

Seeing this, Goku immediately said, "Alright, Vegeta. That guy Hit is truly formidable; even I couldn't track his movements."

"Hmph! That guy! I will never lose to him again!" Vegeta stated coldly.

Goku laughed and then said, "Alright, I'll be taking the next round!"

"What?" Vegeta was stunned, then looked at Goku. "Wasn't it supposed to be Luya next?"

Luya shrugged.

Goku laughed again. "I swapped with him. I want to have a go at Hit, too!"

Vegeta curled his lip. "Suit yourself."

Goku waved at the group. "Everyone, I'm heading out!"

"Good luck, Goku!" Krillin and the others cheered him on.

Goku smiled slightly and leaped onto the arena.

On the other side, Hit also descended onto the stage.

The two stood several meters apart, staring at each other with serious eyes.

"Is that guy Goku really going to be alright?" Beerus asked with a complicated expression.

Whis, standing to the side, laughed easily. "If Goku loses, don't we still have Luya and the greatest fighter in the universe, Monaka? Why are you panicking, Lord Beerus?"

Upon hearing this, Beerus's face stiffened, and he said awkwardly, "Actually, Monaka isn't a martial artist at all; he's just a delivery man from the universe! I only said that to ignite Goku's fighting spirit, and you know that, Whis!"

"Ho ho ho! It seems Lord Beerus, your plan might backfire! If Goku loses, I'm afraid no one in Universe 7 will be able to stop Hit!" Whis said, gloating.

"Damn it!!" Beerus fumed.

Piccolo, whose hearing was far superior to others, overheard their conversation and turned green with shock. So, Goku had practically become Universe 7's only hope?

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but look at Luya.

Is this guy really up to the task?
