Goku didn't attack right away. He didn't transform into Super Saiyan Blue from the start, either. Instead, he stared intently at Hit.
Hit remained expressionless as he waited for Goku to make a move.
The two faced off, and the atmosphere in the arena grew tense. Everyone watched with a mixture of nerves and anticipation. They were eager to see Goku and Hit's exciting showdown!
"Heh! All smoke and mirrors! The Saiyans can't beat Hit! Universe 6 will be the ultimate winner!" Champa jeered.
"Shut your mouth! We can't judge the outcome yet. Open your eyes and watch carefully!" Beerus said in a low voice.
"Hmph!" Champa was unhappy, but he didn't make a fuss.
In the arena, Goku's expression suddenly relaxed. He looked at Hit and smiled. "Sorry about that. I was looking for your weakness just now. That's why I didn't attack!"
Hit was taken aback, then said, "You're pretty honest, I'll give you that!"
Goku assumed a fighting stance. "All right, let's get started! I can't wait!"
"Can't wait to lose?" Hit said coolly. "You've already decided you can't beat me!"
Goku smiled. "Who knows? Maybe I can find your weakness."
Hit looked at him, then said, "Enough talk. Come on."
Hit took a stance, the same simple, ordinary one as before!
But Goku narrowed his eyes slightly and sighed. "Just as I thought. You really don't have any weaknesses!"
Seeing the tension between the two, the referee hurriedly said, "Both contestants are ready. Let the match begin!"
The moment he finished speaking, Goku's expression sharpened. The next second, he charged forward, reaching Hit in the blink of an eye and throwing a straight punch!
Hit's expression didn't change. He dodged like a phantom, then appeared beside Goku and threw a punch of his own!
Goku noticed, but couldn't react in time! Hit's punch sent him flying backward!
Goku staggered back, wincing as he held the spot Hit had struck. "You're really strong! That kind of pain... I've never felt anything like it. Your power is incredible!"
Hit regarded him coolly. "Give it everything you've got. You can't beat me!"
Goku grinned and charged forward again!
He reached Hit and unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, but Hit dodged every one. His power was simply terrifying! And with Time Skip, Goku couldn't even touch the hem of his clothes before Hit struck him with a heavy punch!
That kind of power was hard to believe!
Bang!
"Ugh!" After taking several vicious blows in a row, Goku was sent flying. He was about to fall off the ring when he suddenly flipped through the air several times and landed safely!
Goku looked at Hit and smiled. "I paid a bit of a price, but I can see how you make your moves now!"
"What?!" Hit was startled, then scoffed in disbelief. "Sun Wukong, you're awfully confident. But I have no weaknesses!"
"That's not true, Hit! I've figured out your weakness! From now on, I'll get serious!" Goku said with a confident smile.
"Tch!" Hit looked doubtful, his expression no longer as calm as before.
"Goku's gotta be joking. How could an attack like Hit's have an opening?" Krillin said, unable to believe it.
"Damn it, Kakarot!" Vegeta, however, was starting to believe him. After all, Kakarot was his partner, and he knew him well. Goku wasn't one to lie. Maybe he really had figured something out!
"Ha!!" Just then, Goku powered up, unleashing an immense force from within and transforming directly into Super Saiyan Blue!
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...
Wrapped in blue light, Goku looked at Hit and said, "Hit, you're incredibly strong. But I'm not going to lose to anyone!"
Hit watched Goku transform into Super Saiyan Blue, and his eyes grew more serious.
There was no doubt that this form was extremely powerful! Even he might have to be wary of it if he couldn't use Time Skip!
With that in mind, Hit took a stance and said, "Hmph! You claim to have found my weakness? Sun Wukong, I have to admit I'm impressed by your courage. But my Time Skip has no weaknesses!"
"Is that so?" Goku grinned, then suddenly powered up again, pushing Super Saiyan Blue to its absolute limit!

The next moment, Goku charged straight at Hit!
Hit's eyes narrowed. As before, he used Time Skip, freezing for an instant just as Goku closed in!
Hit sneered and threw a punch!

But there was no scream of pain as expected. Goku had blocked Hit's attack!
"What?!" Hit couldn't believe it. He couldn't understand how Sun Wukong had actually blocked his Time Skip attack!

"Whoa! He blocked it!!"
Everyone was stunned. They hadn't expected Goku to actually block Hit's attack! How could he have done that?
"How is that possible?! How did Kakarot sense that attack?" Vegeta found it hard to accept.
"Time Skip means that Hit can stop time for 0.1 seconds. In that 0.1 seconds, he can do a great many things! And there's more to it than that. He can manipulate time and use Time Skip to enter another parallel space. That's why Vegeta couldn't hit him, while Hit would suddenly appear somewhere else," Luya explained slowly.
After a pause, Luya glanced at Whis. "It's like how Mr. Whis can manipulate time by rewinding it. Hit's technique freezes time for about 0.1 seconds. But for a skilled fighter, that 0.1 seconds is more than enough to do a lot."
Whis nodded in agreement. "That's right. That's exactly how it works. But I'm surprised that anyone besides me can manipulate time. It's hard to believe!"
Everyone finally understood. So that's how it worked...
"Even if you understand how the technique works, overcoming it is still difficult. First, you need sufficient strength. Then you have to control your body so completely that mind and body move as one, allowing you to react in an instant! You also need to predict where your opponent will be the next second.
