Luya's Debut! A Familiar Scene

It was Luya's turn to enter the ring.

Goku glanced at Luya, then frowned, feeling troubled: "Luya probably isn't a match for Hit!"

"Hit has expended a great deal of energy after his fight with you, so there might still be a chance," Beerus said indifferently.

Goku blinked, raised an eyebrow, and looked toward Krillin: "Krillin, do you still have any Senzu Beans?"

As soon as Goku said this, the expressions of Krillin and the others shifted instantly!

"Goku! What are you trying to do?!" Piccolo's face turned green with shock; surely this guy wasn't thinking of feeding a Senzu Bean to Hit?

Everyone else felt the same way, as they were all reminded of the battle against Cell years ago!

Gohan nearly choked on his own breath. If he hadn't transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 just in time back then, all the Z Fighters on the field might have died!

This guy—he couldn't possibly be planning to do that again, could he?

Beerus also sensed something amiss. He stared at Goku, cold and sharp: "Hey! You aren't actually thinking of giving Hit a Senzu Bean, are you?!"

He knew that with Goku's personality, he was perfectly capable of doing exactly that!

Goku laughed awkwardly: "What's the harm? He used up a lot of energy fighting me, and besides, don't we still have Monaka as our trump card?"

Upon hearing this, Beerus panicked. He immediately punched Goku on the head: "Idiot!! How could you even think that!!"

The others twitched their mouths. Most of them knew the truth about Monaka, but only Goku was kept in the dark, still believing that Monaka was a supreme master!

Goku clutched his head in pain, looking displeased: "Lord Beerus! Why did you hit me!"

Beerus clenched his fists in anger: "I'm asking you, are you trying to make Luya lose this match just so you can let Monaka step in?"

Goku laughed: "Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking!"

Beerus: "..."

"Goku, don't be ridiculous!" Whis suddenly spoke up. He was speechless at his own master—why did he have to bring Monaka along? Besides, this was the first time he had ever seen Lord Beerus so flustered!

Goku looked at Whis.

Whis thought for a moment and said: "It is not convenient for Monaka to fight right now. Furthermore, this tournament is no child's play; you know the consequences if we lose!"

"Huh? Why isn't it convenient?" After saying this, he looked toward Monaka and started to walk over.

Beerus quickly blocked Goku: "Hey! What do you think you're doing?"

Goku asked, puzzled: "I'm just going to have a word with Monaka!"

Beerus said coldly: "No! You cannot get close to Monaka right now!"

"Why? Wait, why is he just standing there without moving?" Goku bypassed Beerus, his gaze fixed on Monaka.

"Ho ho, that is because Monaka has been unconscious ever since he witnessed the Kamehameha earlier!" Whis whispered.

Beerus panicked and hurriedly snapped: "I said no, and that means no!"

Goku's eyes narrowed. He felt something was strange, but he couldn't put his finger on what was wrong.

Seeing that the secret was about to be exposed, a flash of inspiration struck Beerus. He said calmly: "Monaka is currently in a state of mental unification. He cannot be disturbed at this time, or the consequences will be dire! A whole planet was once destroyed because of Monaka!"

Hearing this, Goku was shocked: "Really?! That's intense!!"

Destroying a planet just like that! He really was a supreme master!

Beerus seized the opportunity: "So, it is not convenient for him to fight. If he is interrupted, it would be extremely disadvantageous for him. Do you understand? He needs time!"

Goku had no choice but to abandon the idea of having Monaka fight and obediently returned to Vegeta's side.

Beerus let out a sigh of relief.

"Ho ho, Lord Beerus, it seems you were quite panicked!" Whis said, gloating.

Beerus said angrily: "You can't just say things like that, Whis! I almost gave the game away!"

Whis smiled slightly: "I never expected that even as a God of Destruction, Lord Beerus would be capable of lying."

Beerus felt awkward, but he stubbornly insisted: "Hmph! If it helps Goku grow stronger, I don't mind making a small sacrifice!"

Whis: "..."

"Hey! They're about to start!" Piccolo warned.

Everyone turned their eyes toward the ring.

At this moment, Luya looked at Hit with a grave expression.

Even though his opponent had exhausted most of his strength, he was still incredibly powerful!

Hit looked at Luya with a calm face, his thoughts unreadable.

Suddenly, Luya took out a Senzu Bean and tossed it to Hit.

Everyone: "..."

Beerus and the others' faces changed drastically.

"That guy! How could he be so reckless!!" Beerus glared at Luya with a ferocious expression; he was truly enraged now.

"Luya... what is he trying to do?" Krillin and the others asked, bewildered.

"Idiot!" Piccolo and Vegeta were both somewhat displeased.

"Ha... haha, this guy Luya has the same style I had back in the day!" Sun Wukong also laughed in surprise, though he was still quite excited, because this meant he might still get to see Monaka make a move.

"What is this?" Hit looked at Luya and asked.

Luya smiled and said, "This is a Senzu Bean. It can restore your stamina to its peak state in an instant!"

Hit was somewhat puzzled: "Why are you giving this to me? If I return to my peak, you Universe 7 fighters might lose your chance at victory!"

Luya smiled slightly: "That's not necessarily true! I have some confidence in myself! I'm not the type of petty person to take advantage of you when you have less than half your stamina and power left, so I also wish to fight you at your peak!"

"Hahaha!! What a fool! I never thought there could be such a stupid person! Is he handing over a win to my Universe 6 on a silver platter?!" Champa couldn't help but laugh triumphantly upon hearing this. He looked at Beerus: "Hey! Beerus, I'll be taking your Earth without any hesitation!"

"Damn it!!" Beerus was furious, his face turning purple. He looked at Luya, his eyes already cold: "Listen, if you don't win, I will destroy you!"

Luya glanced at Beerus and then smiled: "I'll do my best!"

Hit looked at him, then revealed a faint smile: "You are just as interesting as Sun Wukong, but even if you do this, I will not show any mercy!"

Luya smiled confidently: "Bring it on!"

Hit glanced at Sun Wukong's figure in the spectator stands, then hesitated no longer and swallowed the Senzu Bean.

In less than two seconds, Hit's condition was restored to its peak!

Hit looked at Luya and said, "You are a Saiyan too, right? Then show me your power, otherwise, you are no match for me!"

Luya gave a mysterious smile: "Then I shall show you my skills!!"
