"Keep stabbing me until you kill me." Li Shu's calm voice delivered terrifying words.

Yellow Hair had thought he was a thoroughly wicked man, but compared with a true demon, he felt like a good person.

Under Li Shu's icy gaze, Yellow Hair kept swinging his dagger until the web between his thumb and forefinger split open.

His seven remaining accomplices were terrified. They wanted to flee, but the man before them was putting them under too much pressure. Their legs felt as heavy as lead, and no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't move. All they could do was stand there, staring blankly.

"Wukong, if your big brother kills them, what will you think of me?" Li Shu suddenly asked.

Wukong asked in confusion, "Why would you kill them, big brother?"

"Because they're evil. If we let them go today, they'll keep hurting more innocent, decent people." Li Shu explained earnestly.

Wukong said with a troubled expression, "But they didn't hurt us?"

Li Shu sighed and patiently explained, "If we were ordinary people, wouldn't I already have been stabbed to death?"

"I guess so. Then they really are awful. I think it'd be enough to teach them a good lesson so they won't dare do evil again." Wukong said innocently.

"Is that what you think?" Li Shu said, somewhat helplessly. "Do you know how difficult it is to persuade an evil person to stop doing evil?"

"The most effective way is to kill them outright. Then they'll never do evil again."

Wukong thought for a moment, then looked at Li Shu with wide, innocent eyes. "Big brother, wouldn't that make you the new bad guy?"

"I... never mind." Li Shu couldn't be bothered to explain it to Wukong. He turned to Yellow Hair and asked, "Will you keep going around committing crimes?"

Yellow Hair nodded vigorously and wept as he repented. "Big brother, I really know I was wrong. Please, I really can't kill you! I promise I won't do anything evil again!"

The other seven accomplices also made frantic promises, as though they'd been granted a pardon. They even swore oaths, promising they'd never dare do evil again.

"Big brother, they know they were wrong. Let's go." Wukong smiled innocently.

Li Shu couldn't be bothered with Wukong. He looked at the gangsters and sneered inwardly. They were all lying. Once he left, they would surely go back to bullying the weak to vent their fear.

The reason was simple: even after they admitted their wrongdoing, the system hadn't told him that he'd completed the task.

That meant these wicked people hadn't truly turned over a new leaf. They were merely holding back after weighing the pros and cons.

Li Shu regretted bringing Wukong along. Otherwise, he could have taken them all out and completed the task with ease.

"Write down your home addresses, the names of your family members, your close friends, your crushes, and anyone else you care about. Write them all down." Since he couldn't kill them outright, he decided to fight evil with evil and complete this mission to rid the world of evil.

At his words, Yellow Hair and the others turned pale with fear.

"Don't want to write?" Li Shu's gaze turned cold. He flicked a finger, firing a beam of energy that pierced Yellow Hair's right leg. "Then I'll take one leg from each of you first, and you can keep writing afterward."

Yellow Hair clutched his knee and cried out in pain. All hope of getting away vanished. He wailed, "I'll write, I'll write! But we don't have any pen or paper!"

The other seven stared at the scene in terror. Those who were especially timid had already wet themselves.

Wukong furrowed his brow. This was the first time he'd felt that his big brother seemed so unfamiliar.

"Can you learn your lesson by writing with pen and paper?" Li Shu sneered. "Yellow Hair's knee is still bleeding. Don't waste it. Dip your fingers in it and write on the ground."

"Still not writing? Think there isn't enough blood?" Seeing them hesitate, Li Shu raised his finger and aimed at one of them, Blue Hair. A beam of energy shot out and pierced his thigh, and blood immediately poured from the wound.

The terrifying sight dispelled all their hesitation. They rushed over to Blue Hair and Yellow Hair, dipped their fingers in the blood flowing from their wounds, and frantically wrote on the ground.

They were afraid they'd be next to get hurt.

"Big brother, isn't this too cruel?" Wukong frowned deeply, looking far from happy.

Li Shu sighed. "Wukong, take a look around first."

Wukong looked around in confusion and saw that the doors of the nearby houses, which had all been tightly shut, were now cracked open.

A few figures stood in the gaps, cautiously watching what was happening.

Most of them looked satisfied.

"If you really can't accept what I'm doing, go around and ask the people here what these evildoers have done to them." Li Shu said patiently.

Wukong nodded and hurried off to ask around.

When the residents saw Wukong coming toward them, they hurriedly shut their doors and windows again.

"I'd like to ask what evil things they've done." Wukong stopped outside one of the houses and called out loudly.

Li Shu glanced over at Wukong, then turned his attention back to the gang of local thugs before him.

"If I find out that any of you dares to commit another crime, I'll kill your entire families. Remember, every last member of all your families." Li Shu's voice was as cold as a demon's, making Yellow Hair and the others tremble uncontrollably.

They regretted ever provoking the demon standing before them.

"Looks like we're running low on blood." Li Shu muttered. Just as he was about to act, Green Hair hurriedly pulled out a dagger and shouted, "Big brother! We'll handle it ourselves!"

Green Hair plunged the dagger into Yellow Hair's thigh. He hated Yellow Hair now and wanted to kill him!

So he didn't hold back at all when he started drawing blood. He aimed straight for the artery.

Yellow Hair immediately let out a pig-like squeal, and blood gushed from the wound.

Even Li Shu couldn't bear to watch. He took out a Senzu Bean and fed it to Yellow Hair, then said to the others, "Go ahead and stab as much as you like. As long as there's still a breath in them, I can bring them back to life."

Sure enough, Yellow Hair's wounds immediately healed as if they'd never been there. But this medical miracle didn't reassure the others.

Instead, it filled them with deep fear and unease.

Five minutes later, the ground was covered with densely written names in blood. Li Shu took out a camera and photographed them.

"Everything you wrote is true, right?" Li Shu asked.

Everyone nodded repeatedly, watching him in terror.

"Good. Then I'll ask you one more time: will you keep doing evil?"

"We won't." The eight of them answered, trembling.

Even so, the system's notification still didn't sound.
