After leaving Asgard, the star-class warship flew into the depths of space, heading toward distant Earth.
Thor and Loki stood before the porthole, chatting. Looking out at the profound darkness of space, Loki said, "Do you really think going back to Earth is a good idea?"
"Of course. The people on Earth all adore me. I'm very popular with them, after all. I'm one of the Avengers," Thor said proudly.
"Then let me put it more clearly." Loki's expression turned serious. "Do you really think taking me back to Earth is a good idea?"
After all, Loki had once controlled the Destroyer to destroy a town in New Mexico. He had left a deep impression on Earthlings—especially New Yorkers. He had led the Chitauri army in an invasion of New York and had even frozen all of Manhattan. The Avengers probably wanted to settle the score with him.

Meanwhile, William was chatting with Black Widow and the others. He had originally planned to use the Tesseract to send Natasha and the others back to Earth first.
The warship was already at full capacity and could not make a spatial jump. Otherwise, the people aboard would be in danger. Even at maximum speed, it would take them ten days to half a month to reach Earth, and they might need to stop at other planets along the way to refuel.
Just then, Heimdall seemed to see something. "This is bad. The dwarves are in danger!"
William's expression immediately changed upon hearing Heimdall's words. When they had gone to Nidavellir before, they had told Dwarf King Eitri to inform Heimdall immediately if he discovered any danger. They would rush
