New York Battlefield (Please Vote Monthly)

Leviathans flew over New York City, their enormous bodies blotting out the sky as they roared through the air. At the same time, Chitauri warriors appeared. Some rode flying vehicles, while others landed on the ground and raised their weapons to attack the surrounding crowds.

All of Manhattan Island was in chaos. People fled in every direction, yet not many screamed. Perhaps they were already getting used to it.

Thinking back to the Battle of New York: the Chitauri army had invaded, and Loki had frozen New York with the Casket of Ancient Winters. Then came the Omnic Crisis, with Dimensional Rifts in the sky and a terrifying army of machines. And now, with Infinity War underway, the Chitauri army was attacking New York once again.

The Mayor of New York City said, "I'm really done with you people. Can't you pick somewhere else to fight next time? Stop causing trouble in New York all the time!"

A colossal figure flickered in and out of view in the skies above Manhattan, but the Chitauri army did not notice it, flying straight past it.

"Hill, what's the situation now?" Nick Fury asked with a grave expression.

"The first and second defensive lines have already been breached. The Chitauri army is flooding toward New York. So far, the invaders appear to be about as strong as they were during the last Battle of New York."

"What about the U.S. military?"

"I've already notified Rhodes. The military will launch an attack on the alien invaders soon."
