Iron Man's New Armor

Just as Tony took off his glasses, one hand touched the arc reactor on his chest. A dark gold metal framework immediately spread over his body, rapidly growing layers of nano-material armor.

With its classic red-and-gold color scheme and gleaming energy source, this brand-new armor protected his entire body.

To be fair, Iron Man already had fifty Iron Armor suits by now. Tony had always been researching new armor. After the Serpent was defeated, he began envisioning a suit with even more powerful functions—or rather, a better way to suit up.

Ever since Mark 1, Tony's methods of suiting up had been changing. Mark 5 was suitcase armor, Mark VII Armor could assemble itself in flight, and Mark 42 could freely assemble itself at will...

He felt that his previous suits were not convenient or fast enough. After all, not every villain would stand around and wait for him to transform. It was time for his old-fashioned, cumbersome metal armor to retire.

So he came up with a new kind of material: lighter, more convenient nano-materials.

He had actually researched nano-materials not long ago. For example, during the Civil War, the transforming watch Pulse Cannon he used had been made with nano-materials.

However, he encountered many problems while developing Nano Armor, until he met Black Panther's younger sister, the brilliant Princess Shuri.

The narcissistic Tony had always believed he was the smartest person in the world, but before Shuri, he realized that he was getting old. Compared with this seventeen-year-old girl, he finally understood what it meant for each generation to surpass the last—for the old waves to be slapped to death on the beach by the new.

Thus, with Shuri and Bruce's help, the fiftieth generation of the Mark series, Nano Armor, was born!

Nano Armor brought Iron Man's
