Gargoyle Resurrection

"Surprise... my ass!"

Tony couldn't help saying, his face full of fright. What kind of surprise was this? It was clearly a scare. He had nearly suffered a heart attack just now.

The Gargoyle before him had now fully awakened. Every inch of the monster's skin was made of hard stone, its body full of sharp angles. Two white bony wings stretched from its back, its eyes glowed red, and its expression was furious. It looked incredibly intimidating. "William?" Tony asked tentatively.

"Nini." The Gargoyle greeted him.

"How did you turn into this again?" He knew only William would be this mischievous, but he was still surprised to see the Gargoyle resurrected.

"This is Winston's new form," William answered.

"Wasn't Winston a gorilla?" Tony looked confused.

Winston adjusted his glasses. "Nini, a gorilla's abilities have limits. Over my long scientific career, I learned one thing... the more one studies, the more one realizes that a gorilla's abilities have limits... unless one surpasses the gorilla."

"What the hell are you trying to say?" Iron Man looked utterly baffled.

"I'm not a gorilla anymore, Nini!"

After William had destroyed the three Kree warships, he returned to Earth. At that point, the battle on the New York battlefield had only just begun. When he arrived in Manhattan, he happened to see Tony flying toward the tower, so he decided to mess with him.
