Zamasu, now resurrected, wore an even more maniacal smile, whether from pain or something else was unclear, but a hint of fear was clearly visible on Zamasu face.

Zamasu was already considering retreating. He hadn't expected Goku to be so terrifying in his anger; he regretted provoking him in the first place.

He wants to wait until the other Zamasu's power increases before clearing away the obstacles!
