Qian Daoliu leads Spirit Hall and the Qian family, whose inherited Six-Winged Angel martial soul is of god-level quality. He has undertaken the Angel God's trials and sees the Qian lineage's long-standing mission as central to his responsibilities. The Six-Winged Angel's holy nature influences its wielders toward justice, holiness, and morality; Qian Daoliu believes this influence can also hinder those whose natural temperament conflicts with it, including his son Qian Xunji. 35

When Lion Douluo reports Xiao Yao's innate level-20 soul power and Golden Lion Mastiff martial soul, Qian Daoliu personally evaluates the child. The Golden Lion Mastiff not only resists the aura of his Six-Winged Angel but responds with a challenging eagerness, convincing Qian Daoliu that it surpasses even his family's god-level inheritance. 6

Qian Daoliu is cautious, disciplined, and deeply protective. He treats Xiao Yao's safety as non-negotiable: he orders continuous Titled Douluo protection, personally escorts him beyond Spirit City, and acts conservatively even in dangerous environments where he is confident in his own strength. 6 10 21

He is pragmatic about power and resources, but not needlessly cruel. He avoids killing soul beasts except when necessary, citing the Qian family's preference not to slaughter them without cause.
