The Asura God governs slaughter and judgment. Xiao Yao identifies the Asura inheritance in Slaughter City as his most direct route to godhood: clearing the Hell Road would grant the Divine Slaughter's Domain, establish him as an Asura God candidate, and potentially allow him to begin the Asura God Trial through the Asura Divine Sword. Xiao Yao initially delays this path because he fears interference from the Rakshasa God. 20 50

Before finding Xiao Yao, the Asura God had considered Tang Chen as a potential successor. Although Tang Chen's talent was acceptable, the Asura God judged his forthright personality and combat style unsuitable for a successor capable of placing the entire God Realm under Asura authority.
