Encounter in the Star Dou Forest

Ye Lingling first appears while fleeing a beast tide with Qin Ming. She refuses to leave him behind, but Bo Saixi disperses the surrounding spirit beasts and saves them both. 21 She then learns of Li Changqing's Ancient Tree of Life martial soul and innate level-twenty Soul Power, becoming astonished by his abnormal talent. 22

Heaven Dou Royal Academy

After traveling with Li Changqing's group to Tiandou City, Ye Lingling joins him at Heaven Dou Royal Academy. Though quiet by nature, she develops an interest in the mysterious younger student. 23
