Na'er first appeared as the final “once-in-a-century treasure” at a Tiandou Auction House: a frightened silver-haired girl displayed for sale. Li Changqing had Bo Saixi outbid Ning Fengzhi with twenty million Gold Soul Coins to obtain her 24 25.

After being brought to Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Na'er identified herself as having no family or known home. Bo Saixi examined her silvery-white spear and judged it to be a god-level martial soul. Li Changqing recognized the combination of silver hair, amethyst eyes, and the Silver Dragon Spear as evidence that she was a half split from Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King 27.

Li Changqing chose to keep Na'er close rather than send her elsewhere, both to protect her from being sold again and to investigate why Gu Yuena's incarnation had emerged far earlier than expected. Bo Saixi arranged for her to remain at Heaven Dou Royal Academy 28.
