Thank you all for supporting the book up to this point. Aside from the first three days, its performance has been poor, and today it even fell off the New Releases chart.
But it had reached the word count required for release, so I decided to put it on sale.
There have been a lot of comments in the comment section, including negative ones.
I'll address them one by one here:
1. The First Martial Soul, "Void," manifests as space. That doesn't mean it's a sword in its own right. Take Ling Luochen from Douluo II, for example: her Martial Soul is ice, but she always uses an ice staff as its form. Void works the same way.
2. As for the female leads, there will be several. A lot of readers don't want members of the Shrek group as the female leads, so for now, they're just there for fun. The actual female leads include Qian Renxue, Gu Yuena, Snow Empress...
3. From the perspective of someone who's transmigrated, would you rather enjoy dull cultivation, or showing off in front of the original protagonists?
4. I've revised the fight between Mighty Lion Douluo and Tang Hao. It ends in a draw, with Tang Hao more seriously injured, though he pretends he's fine. Mighty Lion Douluo gets scared off.
5. Why did Xiao Wu and Tang San stay at Shrek Academy? Mainly because I didn't want to stray too far from the original plot. And Tang Hao will draw Spirit Hall's attention. I'll fill in that plot hole later.
6. The protagonist got his First Soul Ring by relying on his Innate Level 20 Soul Power to kill a thousand-year Soul Beast. He uses space to break through defenses and can stop time. It makes perfect sense.
7. Flender kept Ji Ye under house arrest for six years. That doesn't mean he was locked up the whole time, just that he wasn't allowed out of Flender's sight.
8. As for how Tang Hao, despite being down and out for six years, still managed to break through to level 95, you'll have to ask Tang Jia San Shao.
9. To the guys who like Chao Tianxiang: tell me your name, and I'll work you into the story.
10. As for the ages, they're more or less right. It doesn't make much difference, and there are too many to keep track of precisely.
