"Is that so?"
Pilaf continued to put on a brave front, saying, "That's right, just two useless subordinates; I don't need them if I don't want them."
Bulma looked at Son Goku and said, "Goku, tear the castle down for me!"
As she spoke, Son Goku grabbed his Power Pole and walked toward the castle.
In an instant, countless rocket launchers emerged from the castle and fired fiercely at Son Goku.
However, despite the constant explosions on the ground, Son Goku's footsteps did not falter in the slightest.
As Goku leaped to dodge a rocket, he brought his hands tightly together in a cupped shape at his waist.
"Ka~!"
"Me~!"
"Ha~!"
"Me~!"
A blinding white light suddenly flared up as Son Goku thrust his hands forward.
An energy wave slammed violently into the castle.
In an instant, billowing smoke and dust completely engulfed the structure.
A moment later, Pilaf crawled out of the castle in a disheveled state.
Bulma held the Dragon Radar and found the remaining six Dragon Balls.
"Great, all seven Dragon Balls are gathered."
Son Goku nodded and said, "Bulma, hurry up and summon Shenron to make your wish!"
Off to the side, Pilaf, Mai, and Shu watched Bulma holding the seven Dragon Balls, their eyes filled with intense greed.
Pilaf whispered to Shu and Mai, as if arranging some top-secret plan.
Mai and Shu were visibly shaken.
The two said gratefully, "King Pilaf, I knew you wouldn't abandon us!"
Mai continued, "King, as long as we stand united, we will surely make a comeback in the future and rule the world!"
Shu added, "That's right, we will definitely succeed, King Pilaf!"
Pilaf gave a wicked smile, "We don't need to wait for the future; according to my plan, we might succeed in just a moment!"
The two nodded earnestly.
However, at that very moment, Bulma looked toward the three of them.
"Goku, keep an eye on them for me while I go a bit further away to make the wish. I'm worried that if they rush over after I summon Shenron, they might steal the wish!"
Goku nodded.
"Alright, I understand. Go ahead!"
With that, Son Goku tapped his Power Pole, driving it three inches into the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust.
"You three, don't get any funny ideas, or my pole won't be so forgiving, understand?"
The Pilaf trio was so terrified that they tightened up and nodded repeatedly.
"Understood, understood!"
Bulma was meticulous and left no room for error; by having Goku watch them, their scheme was completely thwarted.
Pilaf lowered his head in disappointment.
Mai comforted him, "King Pilaf, don't worry, we can find the Dragon Balls again in a year."
Pilaf nodded, "That's right, Mai makes a good point."
Not far away, as Bulma chanted the incantation, a golden light shot into the sky.
The once clear blue sky instantly clouded over, turning as dark as night.
Beneath the deep, dark firmament, a brilliant golden light suddenly tore across the horizon.
It was like a falling star, yet brighter and more earth-shattering than any meteor.
A green Shenron coiled high in the sky, revealing its scarlet, majestic eyes.
Shenron spoke, "You who have gathered the seven Dragon Balls, state your wish! Any wish can be granted."
Gazing at the long-awaited Shenron, a look of joy appeared on Bulma's face.
She turned to look at Son Goku in the distance, who was keeping a close watch on the Pilaf gang, then looked back up at Shenron.
"Shenron, please ensure that Son Goku never falls ill!"
"Very well, it is granted!"
The red light in Shenron's eyes intensified, and an invisible energy descended upon Son Goku nearby.
The next second, Shenron said, "Your wish has been granted. Farewell!"
Bulma breathed a sigh of relief and replied, "Goodbye!"
Shenron transformed into golden light and dove back into the Dragon Balls.
The next instant, the seven Dragon Balls shot off in seven different directions, and after vanishing from sight, they turned the color of stone...
The dark clouds dispersed, and the sky returned to a clear, sunny expanse.
Bulma and Goku let the Pilaf gang go.
Goku asked, "Bulma, did your wish to cure your friend come true?"
Bulma nodded with a smile, "Mm, it did."
"That's good."
Bulma looked at Son Goku with arched eyebrows and asked, "Goku, don't you want to know who I wished to cure?"
"I'm not interested!"
Bulma shrugged and said, "Fine! By the way, Goku, I've seen how hard you've been training along the way, so I suggest you go to a great place!"
Son Goku asked, "What place?"
Bulma said, "The person with the highest martial arts in the world today is Master Roshi. We met him a few days ago; he's the Master Roshi who gave us the Flying Nimbus. I suggest you go find him to learn, it will definitely take your martial arts to the next level. As for the Flying Nimbus, I'll give it to you; it can take you to Kame House."
Son Goku had originally intended to go to Master Roshi's to learn, so he hadn't expected Bulma to suggest it herself. That made things easy; he could just follow her lead.
Goku looked at Bulma and asked, "If I go to Kame House, what about you?"
"I have a few days of summer vacation left, so I'm going back to West City to catch up on my homework. Besides, I've been out for so long, I miss my mom and dad."
Strictly speaking, Bulma hadn't seen her parents in over twenty years, so she naturally missed home very much.
Goku nodded again, "Oh, that's right. You're a girl, and since this is your first time being away from home for so long, you should have missed it ages ago. You're stronger than most boys! By the way, don't give me the Flying Nimbus; you'll need it to get back to West City. I know the way to Kame House, so I can just run there while getting some training in."
Bulma smiled, bent down, and helped Son Goku straighten his clothes.
She said, "It's fine, neither of us has anything urgent to do anyway.
How about this: you come with me to West City and stay at my place for a couple of days, then you can head to Kame House for your training.
You know, my house is huge!
West City is even more bustling, and there's so much delicious food there.
Once we get to my place, I plan to play the perfect host and take you to try every delicacy in West City."
"Try every delicacy in West City, is that for real?
That sounds amazing."
Son Goku laughed.
Bulma continued, "Also, you can keep the Flying Nimbus.
Once you've had your fill of fun, just ride the Flying Nimbus to Kame House."
Just as Goku was about to refuse, Bulma immediately cut him off.
"Don't stand on ceremony with me.
Once I'm back in West City, I can fly a plane; I'm not short on transportation.
But you're different.
If you ever have an emergency, you won't even have a way to get around. That would be way too inconvenient."
Son Goku chuckled in silence.
