It got to the point where Goku had to practice a set of punches every day just to digest his meals.

However... happy times are always short-lived.

Soon, it was time for Bulma to start school.

Goku had no choice but to leave this city of plenty.

But Bulma, fearing he would suffer at Kame House, prepared plenty of supplies for him before he left.

There was gourmet food, clothes for every season, blankets, and even a portable house.

Son Goku didn't stand on ceremony with her; he took a box of Capsule Corp Capsules and headed straight for Kame House.

Three days later, Ox-King and Chi-Chi arrived at Fortuneteller Baba's place.

Son Gohan happened to be working security there.

Seeing his fellow disciple, they immediately started chatting.

Son Gohan was not much of a talker, but after conversing with Ox-King for a while, he finally learned that Goku's adventure had come to an end.

He also learned that Chi-Chi liked Goku and that Ox-King wanted to help his daughter propose.

However, Son Gohan kicked the matter back to Goku.

Additionally, Gohan learned that they had come here to find Goku and travel together to Kame House for training.

Consequently, even with Gohan's influence, Fortuneteller Baba didn't offer a single cent of discount and charged them to divine Son Goku's whereabouts.

Upon learning that Son Goku had gone straight to Kame House, the two wasted no time and headed directly for the island.

Gathering at Kame House

On Kame Island.

A short, bald boy arrived at Kame House by boat and stood before Master Roshi.

"Are you Master Roshi?"

"I am!"

"My name is Krillin, and I come from a place far to the east. Please, Master Roshi, you must take me as your disciple!"

Master Roshi chuckled.

"Sorry, I don't take on disciples easily. You should head back!"

Krillin didn't change his expression; he pulled out a magazine with a beautiful woman on the cover and handed it to Master Roshi.

"Consider this a gift for our first meeting, Master Roshi!"

Master Roshi had intended to refuse, but once he saw the cover, he couldn't take his eyes off it.

The girl on the cover was just too sexy.

He immediately took the magazine and, while flipping through it, replied, "I'll consider it!"

As he looked, a lecherous expression appeared on Master Roshi's face.

A moment later, Krillin asked, "Master Roshi, have you considered it? Can you take me as your disciple?"

Master Roshi closed the book and turned to look at Krillin.

"Your name is Krillin?"

Krillin replied respectfully, "Yes!"

Master Roshi painfully handed the book back to Krillin and said, "Take this book back. I'm old, and I don't take on disciples easily."

Krillin was stunned for a moment.

"Do you think it's too little? Wait, I have a few limited-edition photo albums here!"

As he spoke, Krillin took off his pack and began rummaging for the photo albums.

Upon hearing there were several more, Master Roshi couldn't bring himself to send him away.

Just as Krillin was rummaging around, a golden cloud arrived at Kame House.

Son Goku shouted aloud, "Grandpa Master Roshi, I've come to ask you to take me as your student!"

Master Roshi asked with some confusion, "Oh, it's Goku. Did the Ox-King send you over?"

Son Goku flipped through the air and landed on the ground.

He asked in confusion, "I didn't run into him... I wanted to come here on my own."

After all, Goku knew that it wouldn't be difficult to get him to take him as a student.

He just needed to find Launch.

Master Roshi had a sudden realization. "He didn't call you? I see. It seems they didn't find you, so it must be fate between us! Your grandfather entrusted me to take you as a student, so I had them go look for you."

Son Goku nodded. "Oh, is that so!"

Just at that moment, Krillin found a stack of photo albums.

"Master Roshi, I found them. Please take a look!"

As he spoke, Krillin handed the stack of photo albums into Master Roshi's hands.

Master Roshi took the photo albums excitedly and began to admire them as if no one else were around.

He left the two of them standing to the side.

Krillin looked at Little Goku with a face full of disdain.

"Are you here to train in martial arts too?"

Seeing the small Krillin, Goku found him quite cute and was pleasantly surprised.

He hadn't expected to arrive neither too early nor too late, just in time to run into Krillin.

With this guy training alongside him, it wouldn't be so boring here.

Son Goku nodded. "Yeah, my name is Son Goku. Please take care of me."

Krillin said, "You arrived later than me, so you are the junior disciple, and I am the senior disciple!"

Son Goku stood next to Krillin and reached out to gesture at their heights.

"I'm taller than you!"

Krillin was slightly annoyed. "That's just your hair adding height. In terms of actual height, I'm taller than you!"

Goku continued, "Master Roshi hasn't agreed to take you as a student yet."

Krillin retorted, "Hasn't he not taken you as a student yet either?"

Master Roshi said while looking at the magazine, "He's different. His grandfather was my student, so taking him as a student was already set in stone."

Krillin's mouth twitched.

"Oh man, I didn't expect that. You're a nepotism hire!"

Son Goku gave a silly smile. "Hehehe, actually I didn't know either. Grandpa arranged it for me!"

Goku didn't feel any sense of superiority just because his mental age was more mature than his.

He would definitely become good friends with Krillin in the future.

Showing off in front of friends was meaningless.

He might as well open his heart to Krillin, his future good brother, and try to communicate with him on the same level.

However, it looked like Krillin wanted to get the upper hand, so Goku naturally had to strike back.

Just then, Master Roshi turned his head.

"Goku, what about that blue-haired girl who was with you? Didn't she come?"

Son Goku shook his head.

"She went to West City to go to school."

"School?"

"Yeah, she accompanied me on my adventure during summer vacation, but school has started now, so she can't accompany me on adventures anymore."

Master Roshi nodded, looking disappointed.

"I see, so you're still a student. What a pity!"

Master Roshi then looked at Krillin and said, "A mere few magazines are not enough to make me take you on as a disciple."

"My school has a rule."

"To train under me, you must bring a lively and cute girl here."

"You should know my preferences, right?"

Krillin brightened up and immediately leaned in to whisper into Master Roshi's ear.

Master Roshi listened for a few moments, his face immediately flushing red.

"Oh my, I didn't expect someone as young as you to be so sensible."

"Very good, very good. You and Little Goku go take the Flying Nimbus and find one for me right away."

Krillin nodded and said, "Yes, Master Roshi!"

Before they could set off, an airplane suddenly flew toward them.

The three of them turned their gazes toward the cockpit.

They saw Ox-King piloting the plane, while Chi-Chi in the passenger seat was waving at them.

Krillin's face lit up.

"Wow, what a cute little girl..."

When Goku saw Chi-Chi, however, he frowned.

"What is Chi-Chi doing here?"
