Master Roshi: "That's right!"
Chi-Chi said dejectedly, "Master Roshi, are you sending us away already?
I feel like I still have so much room to improve!"
Master Roshi smiled. "A young eagle can only soar once it leaves its mother's protection. The same goes for you!"
Chi-Chi and Krillin both nodded.
"That makes sense!"
Bulma shrugged. "What a shame. I was thinking of moving to Kame House for a while so I could keep Goku company while he trained.
Looks like I won't get the chance."
Son Goku froze.
"You were going to stay at Kame House with me for a while? Don't you have to go to school?"
Bulma nodded. "No, I've already taught myself everything I need to know for the next few years,
and I've got my diplomas, so there's no need for me to go to school anymore."
Son Goku was taken aback.
But then again, it made sense. Bulma was a genius girl.
She probably picked up all the basic stuff as soon as she studied it.
Bulma's IQ was probably around 200. She was the kind of person who'd eventually build a Time Machine.
Her mind was on a completely different level from ordinary people. Going to school would just be a waste of time.
Son Goku nodded. "I see!
Then why don't you come adventuring with me?"
Bulma nodded. "Sure!"
Just then, Master Roshi's eyes suddenly darted around.
Then he immediately stood up. "Oh, right! I just remembered something."
The others all looked at Master Roshi.
"Master, what is it?"
Chi-Chi, Krillin, and Goku all looked at Master Roshi.
Master Roshi said, "During the tournament, I saw Chi-Chi and Krillin both use the Kamehameha."
Everyone nodded. "And?"
Master Roshi continued, "I didn't think either of you used it very well. It wasn't powerful enough.
"So I think you should stay for a while longer.
"While you work on your foundations, I can teach you a few things about controlling your ki.
"That way, you'll be able to use the Kamehameha more effectively.
"And if you're talented enough, you might even develop techniques of your own."
Chi-Chi, Krillin, and Goku all brightened.
"Really? That's great!"
Master Roshi said, "Then how about we find a hotel for tonight and head back to Kame House tomorrow?"
Bulma immediately said, "No need. I brought a plane. I'll take everyone back tonight!"
"What?"
The others all looked at Bulma.
Bulma said, "Everyone, give me some room. I'm opening a Capsule."
They all stepped back, clearing a large patch of ground.
Bulma pressed the Capsule and tossed it into the open space.
With a bang, a large plane appeared.
Bulma headed over first.
"Come on, everyone. Get on!"
Master Roshi drew in a sharp breath.
He turned to Goku and asked, "What does Bulma's family do? How do they have such a huge private plane?"
Son Goku said, "They own Capsule Corp."
Krillin, Chi-Chi, and Master Roshi were all shocked to hear that.
Master Roshi: "Incredible! They're the richest people in the world!!!"
Krillin: "So Goku's friend is a rich lady!"
Chi-Chi: "I had no idea her family was that rich. That makes my job even harder!"

Chapter 56: Gravity Bracelet
Bulma knew that after the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku was supposed to go looking for the Four-Star Dragon Ball, a keepsake from his grandfather.
That would lead to a feud with the Red Ribbon Army while he was searching for the Four-Star Dragon Ball.
And that would set off a whole chain of events later on.
But this world was already different. Son Gohan was still alive, so there was no point in looking for the Dragon Balls.
So Bulma decided to devote all her energy to Son Goku,
and help him become even stronger than he had been in the original timeline.
That was also why Bulma wanted to go to Kame House.
Before heading back, Bulma took everyone to the source of the river to clear the channel.
That was Dinosaur Man Giran's territory.
Using Goku's name, Bulma directly told Giran to keep his people from blocking the river anymore.
The whole thing took less than an hour.
Once they were done, Bulma took everyone to Kame House.
Kame House looked spacious, but it only had two bedrooms.
Chi-Chi and Launch had originally shared one room,
while Goku, Krillin, and Master Roshi crammed into the other.
Bulma was an adult, so there wasn't enough room for her to squeeze in with Chi-Chi and Launch.
Luckily, Goku still had the Capsule House Bulma had given him before.
So Goku and Bulma set it up not far from Master Roshi's house,
and the two of them stayed there for the night.
Looking at the island behind her, Bulma couldn't help exclaiming, "So this is the island you live on!
No wonder I couldn't find you. There are so many people living on this island."
Son Goku nodded. "Yeah, there are lots of people living here.
"Lots of families order milk, so we trained while delivering it.
"And the island's big. There's a river, too, so we can go swimming.
"When we trained before, we got two days' worth of training done in one day. We were busy and exhausted!
"Even our breaks were controlled. Resting counted as part of our training."
Bulma smiled. "All right, I forgive you for not coming to see me.
"I invented something at home. You can have it as a gift!"
As she spoke, Bulma took out a bracelet and handed it to Son Goku.
"Huh?"
"What's this?"
Son Goku took the bracelet Bulma gave him and studied it.
Suddenly, he thought of the device Son Gohan had in the original story,
the one that transformed into his Great Saiyaman outfit with the press of a button.
Son Goku couldn't help asking, "Is it a changing bracelet?"
Bulma raised an eyebrow. "A changing bracelet?"
"You know, you press a button and it changes your clothes!"
Bulma shrugged. "Do I look crazy?
"Why would I spend ages making something like that?"
As she spoke, Bulma pulled out a cigarette and lit it herself.
Hearing that it wasn't a changing bracelet, Son Goku froze again. "Then what is it?"
Bulma took a drag and said, "I saw you training every day with that turtle shell on your back.
"It's ugly, and it gets in the way.
"So while I was at home, I did some research and made you a Gravity Bracelet.
"As long as you wear it, you can adjust your body weight.
"You can set your weight anywhere from 0.1 to 10 times its normal amount, in increments of 0.1."
Son Goku was stunned.
"A Gravity Bracelet?"
Bulma nodded.
"Yeah. Isn't this much more convenient than a turtle shell?
"When you want to train, just set the multiplier and press the button. It'll add weight based on your body weight.
"Once you've gotten used to the extra weight and want to push yourself further,
"just adjust it again. You can go all the way up to ten times your normal weight.
"Actually, I could make one that goes up to a hundred times, but the materials are hard to get.
"And a hundred times gravity would be way too dangerous for you.
"You're still young. It could crush you in an instant.
"So I didn't make it that powerful. It's better to take things one step at a time!"
Son Goku was thrilled. He ran his hand over the bracelet, unable to hide his excitement.
"Bulma, you're amazing!"
Son Goku had been planning to ask Bulma to help him build a Gravity Chamber once he was strong enough.
But before he even had a chance to bring it up, she'd gone and invented a Gravity Bracelet.
It was something that hadn't even appeared in the original story.
And it was much more practical than a Gravity Chamber.
After all, a Gravity Chamber was fixed in one place. You had to go inside to train.
The Gravity Bracelet was different.
As long as you wore it, you could train anywhere you wanted, with the extra weight set however you liked.
