Goku carried the giant sea turtle on his back, while she rode her motorcycle alongside them, heading towards the seaside where Kame House was located.
Bulma had initially wanted to drive them there with the sea turtle inside her car.
However, Goku insisted on carrying the turtle to train with the added weight, so Bulma gave up on driving.
Riding a motorcycle made it less likely to encounter difficult roads.
Along the way, no matter what kind of bears or bandits of other races they encountered, Bulma didn't hesitate, directly ordering Goku to fight.
In front of Goku, those bandits were utterly defenseless, and Goku taught them a lesson.
About two hours passed, and the two of them, along with the turtle, arrived at the seaside.
Seeing the ocean, the sea turtle gratefully thanked them.
"I've been wandering for a year, thank you so much!!"
Goku smiled, "You're welcome, hurry home!"
The sea turtle entered the ocean and called back, "Wait for me, I must repay you!"
With that, the sea turtle swam towards the depths of the ocean.
In his past life, Goku was a landlubber who had seen many rivers, but rarely the sea.
It wasn't until after he started working, during a company team-building event, that he visited the Gold Coast for the first time, seeing the ocean.
In the Dragon Ball world, seeing the sea again, he immediately took off his shoes, and stepped onto the soft, cool sand.
Bulma gazed in the direction the sea turtle had gone, a look of reminiscence on her face.
She knew it was heading to Kame House, and as expected, Master Roshi should arrive soon.
Just then, Goku's voice reached her.
"Bulma, come over and play for a bit!"
Bulma looked at Goku.
She saw that Goku had already taken off his shoes and was standing barefoot on the beach.
Waves washed over his feet, then quickly receded.
He looked like he was enjoying himself.
A gentle smile spread across Bulma's face.
"Coming!"
She also took off her shoes and walked barefoot onto the cool sand.
At the same time, a shallow wave washed over, directly submerging her feet, and in an instant, a shiver ran through Bulma's entire body.
She couldn't help but shiver, "Hiss, it's so cold..."
Bulma's toes curled involuntarily, and her feet arched strongly.
The wave receded again, washing away the fine sand that remained between her toes.
Seeing Bulma still adjusting to the water temperature, Goku chuckled.
The skin on Bulma's instep was as fair as snow, delicate and smooth.
Drops of water slid off her feet, reflecting the sunlight, looking exceptionally beautiful.
Immersed in the moment, Bulma's face was radiant with happiness.
She felt as though she had almost forgotten what such peaceful and beautiful lives tasted like.
This was the life of leisure, this was a beautiful existence.
She gazed at the sea and sincerely exclaimed, "It's so beautiful!"
"Yeah, the sea is truly beautiful!"
Goku agreed.
Bulma said, "Goku, why don't we buy an island when we grow up and build a seaside resort center on it? How does that sound?"
Hearing Bulma's suggestion, Son Goku's eyes lit up.
He recalled the wonderful scenes from Dragon Ball Super.
There was Whis, Beerus, many good friends, and children.
They held parties and gatherings where everyone ate delicious food.
The island had many chefs, all kinds of cuisines, and famous delicacies from all over the world.
And in the original story, he and Vegeta would engage in hearty sparring matches right over the ocean.
Whenever they were tired from fighting, they could return and immediately feast on all sorts of gourmet food.
Imagining such a life—simple and unadorned—it was just too wonderful.
Goku immediately said, "Make sure the island has plenty of chefs, and it must have all kinds of food from around the world!"
Bulma gave a sweet smile. "Alright, it's a deal! I'll make sure you get to eat delicious food every day."
"Yeah, it's a deal!"
Son Goku nodded immediately.
Just then, a voice cut through the sound of the waves.
"Hi!"
The two turned to look and saw a lecherous figure appearing on the sea surface before them.
A bald man wearing sunglasses, a floral shirt, and baggy shorts was slowly paddling toward them on the back of a giant sea turtle.
Who else could this be but Master Roshi?
Meeting the gazes of Bulma and Goku, Master Roshi flashed a peace sign.
"Sorry to keep you waiting!"
Master Roshi and the sea turtle came ashore.
He looked at the short Goku, then walked over to Bulma.
"Hello, beautiful young lady. May I ask if you were the one who saved this sea turtle?"
Bulma nodded, then glanced at Goku and said, "We both saved the sea turtle."
Master Roshi chuckled. "The sea turtle has been missing for a year. Thank you so much for bringing him back. To reward you, I want to give each of you a wonderful gift."
With that, Master Roshi began to summon the Phoenix.
Of course, the Phoenix had died of food poisoning.
After some fuss, Master Roshi summoned the Flying Nimbus instead.
Master Roshi looked at Bulma and said, "This is called the Flying Nimbus. You can ride it to fly into the sky; it's quite a treasure. To thank you for saving the sea turtle, I'll give this cloud to you!"
Bulma stared at the Flying Nimbus in a daze.
She remembered that in her past life, she couldn't ride the Flying Nimbus.
This thing was only suitable for someone with a pure heart like Goku.
Even Chi-Chi, Gohan, and their family could ride the Flying Nimbus.
Bulma turned her head and looked at Goku.
"Goku, you should be the one to ride the Flying Nimbus!"
"Sure!"
Son Goku nodded and immediately walked over.
Unexpectedly, Master Roshi interrupted Goku and blocked his path.
"Wait a moment. This cloud is a gift for you, beautiful lady. I have something else to give him in a moment."
Bulma was stunned once again.
"A gift specifically for me?"
Master Roshi nodded.
"That's right. Go ahead and give it a try!"
Bulma felt somewhat conflicted.
She reached out and touched the Flying Nimbus.
The solid, tangible sensation took her by surprise.
Unlike in her previous life, she didn't touch empty air; she felt the actual substance of the Flying Nimbus.
It was soft, like cotton, like a mattress.
Bulma's pupils dilated; she couldn't understand why.
"Can't get on?
Let me give you a push!"
Just as Bulma was bewildered, Master Roshi behind her prepared to help, his posture clearly indicating he intended to hoist her up by the backside.
Bulma was slightly annoyed and ignored him, instead immediately flipping herself up in a leap.
To her surprise, she sat steadily atop the Flying Nimbus.
Seeing Bulma sitting on the Flying Nimbus, Son Goku was also taken aback.
But the next moment, his eyes immediately lit up.
He hadn't expected that the Bulma he encountered was not only less boy-crazy than in the show, but could actually ride the Flying Nimbus, which meant her heart was very pure.
That was truly great.
As for Goku himself not obtaining the Flying Nimbus, he didn't actually feel he had suffered much of a loss.
Because once he learned the Flight Technique later on, it would be much faster than the Flying Nimbus.
