Background / History

The Heavenly Court is the celestial administration headed by Haotian. Though it nominally rules the Three Realms, it lacks sufficient personnel to manage its responsibilities independently. Its expected solution is the Investiture of the Gods List, through which it seeks to fill 365 Orthodox God positions and establish the Eight Departments of Immortals under its authority 7 30.

For years, the Court relied extensively on Jie Sect disciples—many without formal celestial appointments—to patrol lower realms, suppress demons, guard Sea Eyes, regulate water veins, manage star nodes, and mediate disputes.
