Background / History

Jiraiya was a student of Sarutobi Hiruzen and later became Konan's master, teaching her ninjutsu and discussing ideals with her during her childhood. 17 26

During Orochimaru's assault on Konoha, Jiraiya returned to the village after receiving Sarutobi's message. He coordinated the defense, attempted to breach the barrier around Sarutobi's battle, and confronted Aoike alongside Anbu operatives. 21 24

After entering Sage Mode, Jiraiya killed Orochimaru with a Sage Art: Big Ball Rasengan. Sarutobi then entrusted him with the position of Fifth Hokage before dying from his injuries. 25 26

Appearance

Jiraiya has white hair and wears wooden sandals. When using Sage Mode, toad-like markings appear on his face. 24 25
