Tang Hao spent six years secretly watching Tang San grow up in Nuoding City and approved of Yu Xiaogang's early guidance. He regarded Tang San's cultivation as central to restoring his own standing with the Clear Sky Sect, which had suffered after Tang Hao's past actions and subsequent closure. 172

Known throughout the Soul Master world as the Clear Sky Douluo, Tang Hao's history with Spirit Hall makes other factions wary of sheltering him or becoming involved with him. His reputation is further tied to his past assault on a previous Pope. 166 173 180
