Background

Mo Li is a transmigrant who had lived with Liu Erlong, founder of Blue Tyrant Academy, for six years by the time of his martial soul awakening. Before awakening, he secretly cultivated the Yin-Yang Reincarnation Art, a mysterious technique stored in his sea of consciousness. He initially delayed the ceremony, but Liu Erlong insisted that he undergo it. 1 2

His awakening produced the Nine Nether Sparrow, an unfamiliar black avian martial soul surrounded by dark flames. Its aura caused other martial souls to tremble, including Liu Erlong's Fire Dragon. Mo Li recognized that the Nine Nether Sparrow did not originate from this world and suspected a connection between it and the Yin-Yang Reincarnation Art. 2

After discovering his Innate Full Soul Power, Liu Erlong chose to personally oversee his cultivation rather than send him to a junior soul master academy. Mo Li resolved to grow strong enough to protect the people and life he had come to value. 2
