"Ha!"
Vegeta let out a loud shout, and terrifying energy surged forth. Golden aura erupted around him as he transformed directly into Super Saiyan 2.
In this form, he was more than powerful enough to crush Perfect Cell.
"Come on, Ginyu. Let me see what the Androids can do."
Arrogant as ever, Vegeta struck his familiar taunting pose, holding his right fist in front of himself and pointing his thumb at his chest.
"Today, you'll see just how powerful Super Vegeta is."
He firmly believed that few in this world could match him—aside, of course, from those few freaks.
"You'll pay for what you've done."
Perhaps because he could switch bodies, Ginyu adapted to his new body incredibly quickly, soon getting a handle on all of its abilities.
On top of that, Androids already had a certain level of computer-like processing ability, making them easy to use.
"Hahaha! You're nothing but a hunk of junk, and you think you can stand up to a Saiyan? I'll tear you apart right now!"
Vegeta charged first, throwing a heavy punch straight at Ginyu's face.
Ginyu casually raised his left hand and caught the incoming fist.
Then Ginyu struck with his right, sending Vegeta flying with a single punch.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Vegeta crashed through two mountains before finally coming to a stop.
"Now that's some incredible power."
Having experienced the strength of this body firsthand, Ginyu was utterly exhilarated.
"What are you looking at?"
While Ginyu was still reveling in his excitement, Vegeta appeared behind him and spun into a sweep, kicking him squarely in the neck.
Ginyu had no time to dodge and was sent flying by the kick.
There was no way Vegeta would let him go. Just as Ginyu was sent hurtling away, Vegeta grabbed his ankle, swung him around, and slammed him hard into the ground.
"Yaaah!"
Ginyu righted himself in midair and landed steadily on both feet.
When he looked up, he saw Vegeta unleashing Prince Tactics. Countless blasts of light rained down from the sky, exploding all around Ginyu.
Ginyu hurriedly dodged and shot straight up into the air, but the next instant, Vegeta appeared behind him and knocked him flying again with a side kick.
Vegeta used Instant Transmission to reach the path Ginyu was flying along, then struck him with an elbow. Captain Ginyu had no time to react before he was sent flying into the sky.
Vegeta clasped his hands together and brought them down hard on Ginyu, who was soaring upward with his body doubled over. The blow drove him straight out of the sky and into the ground, leaving a massive crater.
Ginyu had been so arrogant before, but now he felt as if every bone in his body was about to snap. He could hardly believe that, despite how powerful this body was, Vegeta had beaten him so badly.
"Tch. You piece of trash. You're nothing but a hunk of junk, yet you think you can rival me, Vegeta? Who gave you that confidence?"
Vegeta looked like a rooster that had just won a fight, chest puffed out and chin held high. He looked ready to crow.
Sun Wukong, watching from a distance, couldn't help shaking his head.
He'd thought Ginyu, who had taken over Android 13's body, might be strong. Instead, the result had been a huge disappointment.
To be fair, Android 13 really was strong. He was already at the level of a mid-tier Super Saiyan 2. A few years ago, when Wukong had just transformed into a Super Saiyan—or even when he had just broken through to Super Saiyan 2—Android 13 would have been a formidable opponent. But against him now, he simply didn't measure up.
Among the rubble below, Ginyu erupted in fury, blasting all the surrounding stones away.
He looked up and saw Vegeta hovering in the air, arms folded across his chest, standing there with an arrogant expression.
Ginyu gritted his teeth. He couldn't accept that even after obtaining such a powerful body, he still couldn't beat this Saiyan.
And this was only the weakest Saiyan. He had witnessed Super Saiyan Blue before. He couldn't sense any ki from them at all, but there was no doubt they were tremendously powerful.
If he couldn't even beat the weakest Saiyan, how could he hope to face those two Super Saiyan Blues? He was so pathetic—how could he help the King conquer the universe in the future?
"Damn it! Damn it! How could I, Captain Ginyu, possibly lose?"
Ginyu shot into the air again and unleashed all his strength. White flames of energy enveloped his body as he stretched out both hands, gathering a green-tinged energy between his palms.
"Saiyan, die!"
Ginyu unleashed an energy blast. Vegeta merely smiled, turned slightly, and raised his left hand, catching the attack one-handed.
"That's it?"
A burst of power couldn't make up for the gap between them.
Vegeta raised his right hand, and a yellow sphere of energy appeared. With a loud shout, it transformed into a beam that drove Ginyu's attack straight back.
Their energy beams clashed. In less than three seconds, Ginyu was overwhelmed and sent flying. The beam struggle was over.
"Hahaha! Kakarot, did you see that? This is me—the mighty Super Vegeta!"
Watching Vegeta swagger about, Sun Wukong felt a little speechless.
The two of them had reached the peak of Super Saiyan 2 ages ago. As long as they broke through the bottleneck, they could advance to Super Saiyan 3. What was there to celebrate about beating an Android at the mid-tier Super Saiyan 2 level?
A tiny bee watched the battle through its eyes, and everything it saw was transmitted as data to the laboratory underground.
Gamos sat in a chair, stroking his chin as if deep in thought.
"Vegeta looks like he's practically begging for a beating. Should I go give him one?"
It seemed Vegeta's arrogance had gotten under Launch's skin. No, it had made her itchy to fight.
Gamos suddenly thought of something, and an evil smile spread across his face.
"No need. Android 13 hasn't unleashed his full power yet. He might still be able to beat Vegeta."
Gamos went over to the recharging pods for Android 14 and Android 15, then used telekinesis to press a few buttons on the computer. The pods opened.
Android 14 and Android 15 were still sleeping peacefully. Gamos looked at them as if they were nothing more than ordinary objects.
"What's going on? Are you going to release them too?"
Gamos said nothing. He simply raised his right hand and opened his palm.
With a sharp crack, the two Androids lying there seemed to have their bones snapped by some invisible force. Two energy generators and two energy chips flew out of their bodies and hovered above Gamos's palm.
"Come on. Let's go see how Prince Vegeta gets beaten up."
Launch was interested too and hurried after Gamos.
They reached the surface and immediately saw the badly battered Ginyu still taking a beating.
