Background / History

Yun Yun was the Young Sect Master of the Misty Cloud Sect when Lin Hao sought admission. Although several elders wished to accept the unusually gifted child, she declined because she had already taken a disciple that day. That disciple was Nalan Yanran. 4

Soon afterward, Yun Shan entered seclusion to seek a breakthrough to Dou Zong. Having already reached Dou Emperor, Yun Yun inherited the sect leadership, with the elders instructed to assist her in protecting the Misty Cloud Sect. 5

As sect leader, she personally guided Lin Hao, explained the problems posed by his all-attribute Dou Qi, and demonstrated advanced sect techniques for him. 5 6 She also provided him with medicinal pills before his travels while teaching Nalan Yanran that Lin Hao, as Yun Shan’s disciple, held the seniority of her Martial Uncle. 29
