Background / History

Lin Hao was born to refugee parents who fled famine and died at the entrance to Holy Soul Village. According to Old Jack, Lin Hao's heart had stopped before he miraculously revived, and the only information left by his mother was his name. Old Jack thereafter raised him 1.

Lin Hao awakened with innate full soul power in Holy Soul Village, but Su Yuntao dismissed his paper-like martial soul as worthless. Old Jack consequently gave the village's work-study quota to Tang San instead. Lin Hao concealed that his martial soul contained an internal space, later naming it the Realm Profound Talisman. Inside, he discovered portals, one of which transported him to another world 2 3.

At six, Lin Hao entered the Misty Cloud Sect's selection ceremony in the Jia Ma Empire. His Dou Qi Stage 6 cultivation drew the attention of several elders. Yun Yun declined to accept another disciple, after which sect leader Yun Shan took Lin Hao as his apprentice 4 5.
