Obito is driven by grief, fixation, and an increasingly ruthless desire to impose the Infinite Tsukuyomi upon the world. After being confronted with the contrast between his childhood wish to become Hokage and his current path, he consciously rejects his former self and resolves to defeat the world for Rin’s sake. 87

His emotional vulnerability is centered on Rin. Genba’s clone repeatedly exploits this weakness by taking Rin’s appearance, causing Obito to hesitate even when he recognizes the deception. 110 111
