Tang Wulin brings Tang San from Notting City to the Star Dou Great Forest to find a life-attribute soul beast suited to the Blue Silver Grass evolution path 3. In the outer region, Tang San absorbs the soul ring of an eight-hundred-year Thousand-Thread Dragon-Beard Vine and gains Extreme Drain, a skill that absorbs vitality and soul power 5 6.

Awakening at the Lake of Life

After Tang Wulin and Tang San leave, Di Tian awakens at the Lake of Life after sensing the Golden Dragon King aura 6. Gu Yuena later identifies Tang Wulin as the Son of Nature of the era and begins planning to obtain his Golden Dragon King bloodline through strategy rather than force 26.

Qian Renxue’s Hunt for the Three-Eyed Golden Lion

Qian Renxue enters the forest with Snake Spear Douluo and Pufferfish Douluo to find a mutated soul beast with fire, light, and holy attributes 20 21. In the core zone, they discover the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, but Red King intervenes and forces Qian Renxue to retreat 21.

Tang Wulin’s Sixth Soul Ring Trip

Tang Wulin and Tang San enter the core zone for Tang Wulin’s sixth soul ring and encounter the aftermath of Red King’s battle with the Title Douluos 22. The Three-Eyed Golden Lion pursues Tang Wulin, Red King attacks, and the King of Myriad Demons intervenes to prevent the Son of Nature from being harmed 23 24. Tang Wulin receives compensation in the form of the hundred-thousand-year Emerald Heart Root, which willingly sacrifices itself to him, before leaving with Tang San 25 26.

Tang Wulin’s Seventh Soul Ring Trip

After reaching level 70, Tang Wulin returns alone to the Star Dou Great Forest for a seventh soul ring 93 98. He searches the core region for a plant-type soul beast over one hundred thousand years old, and the King of Myriad Demons guides him toward the 190,000-year Azure Vine Emperor 99. With the Goddess of Life’s intervention, Tang Wulin condenses an emerald-green natural soul ring and reveals Blue Silver True Body 100 102.

Tang Wulin's breakthrough also releases overwhelming Golden Dragon King pressure across the entire forest, causing its soul beasts to tremble in fear and forcing dragon-blooded creatures to collapse 103.

Tang Wulin and the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s Destiny Connection

Following Tang Wulin's seventh-ring breakthrough, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion establishes a destiny connection with him 104. The connection binds their fates and transfers memories of the Auspicious Beast's future to Tang Wulin, including her future identity as Wang Qiu'er 104. Tang Wulin resolves to seek Living Gold or a Life Eye in the future to condense an Eye of Destiny 104.

Five Years Later

Tang Wulin later brings his group back to the Star Dou Great Forest to obtain new soul rings for his disciples 106 108. Dugu Yan absorbs a soul ring from a Scaled Armor Dragon, while Tang Wulin enters deeper areas to find a hundred-thousand-year soul beast for Qian Renxue 108. He defeats a Holy Unicorn and gives it to Qian Renxue for her eighth soul ring 109.

During this period, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion takes human form and adopts the name Wang Qiu'er. Gu Yuena keeps Wang Qiu'er at her side while using her own human body to observe Tang Wulin and advance her plan to obtain his Golden Dragon King bloodline 107 108.

Xiao Wu’s Fifth Soul Ring Hunt

Tang Wulin later escorts Xiao Wu to the Star Dou Great Forest after she reaches level fifty 150. Despite her reluctance to kill another soul beast, Xiao Wu absorbs the Moon Shadow Beast's soul ring in pursuit of greater strength and revenge against Bibi Dong 150.

During the same visit, Zhu Zhuqing flees toward the mixed zone while pursued by Zhu Zhuyun, and is subsequently killed by Xiao Wu 150 153. Di Tian observes Tang Wulin and Xiao Wu leaving the forest and questions why Gu Yuena has not yet completed her plan against Tang Wulin 153.
