Background / History

The Chen Clan originated as a mid-sized family native to Moon-Gazing City. Chen Fengyang's collateral lineage rose to prominence roughly three hundred years before the present story, eventually becoming inseparable in practice from the city's City Lord's Mansion. Though Fengyang's branch was not originally the clan's mainstream, he used his strength and position as City Lord to elevate the entire family into one of Moon-Gazing City's great clans. 27 75
