Background / History

Li Xing was a young man from Earth who transmigrated into the Dragon Ball world and arrived at Mount Paozu. Presented with three choices by the Super Choice System, he chose to steal the Four-Star Dragon Ball rather than aid Bulma or Sun Wukong. Although his theft attempt went awry, completing the mission granted him the Devour Ability, which became the basis of his growth. 1 2

Initially weak, Li Xing used dangerous terrain, physical training, and combat against dinosaurs to improve his body. He chose to protect Xiao Wu and Ashu from a dinosaur, then brought them toward Pilaf Castle while treating them as potential subordinates and training resources. 6 7 9 10

After battling Yamcha and repeatedly clashing with the Ox-King, Li Xing accumulated enough power to subdue the Pilaf Gang. He persuaded Pilaf to become his researcher and established his first faction. 12 15 16
