Looking at the five-year-old boy, Kashu felt a complicated mix of emotions. In the original story, Son Gohan had transformed into Super Saiyan 2 during the Cell Games and defeated Perfect Cell. Now he'd transformed early, but his opponent was Semi-Perfect Cell. "You can. But use this." Kashu handed Gohan a Destruction Sphere. "Infuse it with Hakai Energy and destroy every cell in his body." Gohan took the Destruction Sphere and combined the Hakai Energy with his Kamehameha. "Demon Destruction Kamehameha!" A beam of intertwined purple-gold and crimson energy shot from Gohan's palms and struck Cell's core. Cell's body disintegrated in the Hakai Energy. This time, he didn't regenerate.
"No—!!!" Cell's scream echoed across the sky, then everything fell silent. Cell had vanished completely. Piccolo got up from the ground, weak but alive. Once she's finished, they'll be free people, not killing machines," Kashu said. "Maybe they can join us." Vegeta snorted. "I don't want robots on my team." "They're not robots. They're Androids—living humans who've been modified," Kashu said. "Besides, Android 18 seems to like Krillin." Vegeta glanced at Krillin and Android 18, the corner of his mouth twitching. "That bald guy?" "Love isn't about looks..." "Whatever."
Kashu walked to the window and gazed at the starry sky outside. The battle with Cell was over, but he knew this was only the beginning. There were even stronger enemies in the universe—the forces of the Demon Realm, Goku Black and Zamasu from parallel worlds, Beerus the God of Destruction, Whis the Angel, the Grand Priest, and even Grand Zeno. "I want to fight the strong ones!" "When you're older, I'll take you." "Okay! Pinky promise!" Kashu made a pinky promise with his daughter, then looked toward his other two children. Kabrun was discussing a new invention with Bulma. Kassis sat quietly beside Tights, silver eyes fixed on his father, a smile on his lips.
This was his family. This was everything he had to protect. System, display status.
