Background / History

The Heavenly Demon Sacred Art, created by the Blood Spirit Ancestor, was designed to use 365 acupoints as furnaces: each would suppress a powerful race's bloodline before all 365 were fused into a Heavenly Demon Body. The completed art was said to be capable of producing a physique comparable to an innate body 116.

An earlier failed cultivation attempt created a Heavenly Demon that devastated the Azure Cloud World. It was ultimately sealed in five pieces, including an arm imprisoned in the Blood Spirit Hall of the Blood Spirit Realm. Other failed practitioners became mindless stitched demonic beasts driven only by slaughter 116.

Outer Realm Heavenly Demons normally access other worlds through the Inner Landscape World, exploiting openings created when cultivators attain enlightenment, suffer deviation, leave their minds unguarded, or undergo tribulation. Cracks in the Azure Cloud World's world barrier allowed Heavenly Demons such as Moro to enter directly as an invading vanguard 133.

Appearance

Heavenly Demons can possess a tangible demonic body or disperse into incorporeal black mist. Their size and appearance vary greatly with their cultivation and state.

• A Nascent Soul Outer Realm Heavenly Demon was described as pitch-black, ten zhang tall, horned, savage-faced, and wreathed in black flames 83 127.
• A Spirit Transformation invader manifested as a horned demonic body more than fifty zhang tall 202 203.

A Heavenly Demon clone entered Zhao Hao's sea of consciousness during his Golden Core tribulation. Zhao Hao deceived it with Five Finger Mountain, captured it, and used it to strengthen the Karmic Fire Spirit Seed. Its Nascent Soul true body sensed the clone's destruction and vowed to investigate Zhao Hao later 82 83.

Moro's Capture

Moro entered Zhao Hao's cave abode after mistaking him for a fellow Heavenly Demon due to the aura of the eight-armed stitched monstrosity. Zhao Hao immobilized Moro with Soul-Devouring Jade, performed a Soul-Searching Art, learned the race's invasion methods, and gained five Heavenly Demon Divine Abilities 132 133.

Heavenly Demon Body Creation

Zhao Hao used the perfected Heavenly Demon Sacred Art to fuse 365 Demon Race bloodlines. Despite the chaotic wills within those bloodlines, he completed a Low-Grade Heavenly Demon Body and gained Heavenly Demon Transformation and Bloodline Reversion at the ninth grade 198 199.

Spirit Transformation Tribulation

A Spirit Transformation Outer Realm Heavenly Demon entered Zhao Hao's heart-demon tribulation. Zhao Hao used the perfected Heart Demon Rule and Heavenly Demon Illusion Realm to suppress it, then transformed into a Heavenly Demon and devoured it, greatly strengthening his Primordial Spirit 202 203.

Heavenly Demon Farming Plan
