Third Era origin

Era Relics identify Princess Tina Lilith Leonard as a princess of the Turing Empire, born in the year 255 of the Third Era amid unending storms. She sought a kingdom capable of absorbing the dark side of the World's Garment and clashed with Princess An Yu over the Calamity Cult and its sacrifices 235 375.

The present Tina Klosterman is tied directly to that historical figure. Lady Calamity describes her as the most perfect avatar split from herself: a Calamity Species uniquely compatible with the Calamity Origin and able to control the Calamity Kingdom 369.

Recovery from the ruin

Seventeen years before the Kaster crisis, Alais Koulibaly and Old Jack found Tina frozen in a ruin described as a Third Era cemetery. They unsealed her by following instructions in a notebook found within a special space in the ruin 144 282.

Alais later kept a means of controlling her hidden from Old Jack. He implanted psychological suggestions in Tina and eventually sought to exploit her Calamity Origin for his own advancement 144 282.

Partner Contract

Tina initially served as Marco's partner, but her condition reportedly became dangerously frail without a contractor. Soon after meeting Wei En, she chose him instead, asking to be his friend; the resulting contact formed a Partner Contract with no deliberate ritual from either of them 27 277.

The contract strengthens Wei En's physique and recovery, but it also binds him to Tina's calamity growth, injuries, mutations, and distortions 27 137 143.

Appearance

Tina is a pale, white-haired girl whose initial blank expression and hollow eyes make even experienced investigators uneasy. After reclaiming control of her Calamity Origin, her eyes become bright black rather than vacant, and she displays more natural emotion 21 290.

Personality

Tina initially speaks in short, third-person phrases and appears emotionally distant. Her understanding of ordinary social boundaries is limited; she mistakes a partner contract for a reason to sleep beside Wei En and does not initially distinguish between living together and sleeping together 40 41.

Despite that detachment, she is intensely affectionate and protective toward Wei En. She trusts him before she understands his abilities, clings to his clothing or hand, and openly states that she does not want him to die 23 27 41.

Her hostility is direct rather than subtle. She openly dislikes Marco and Kali, particularly reacting negatively to Kali's connection to Dawn 23 93. Beneath her fear of becoming Calamity, however, Tina does not want to hurt others and agrees to train only after Wei En assures her that her loss of control was not her fault 166 168.

After gaining control of her Origin, she gradually develops visible happiness, curiosity, anger, and affection. She studies, enjoys books and travel, and forms friendships beyond Wei En 290 299 319.

She becomes crucial to later fieldwork, exposing hidden enemies in Laos District, assisting Wei En on the Ceres Family commission, and locating the Bone-Eroding Mother Insect infestation in Idrisu District 30 97 109.

Kaster City-State calamity

When the Demon Clown loses control, Tina's own calamity distortion escalates from Level 1 to Level 4. She overwhelms Black Jack, marches toward Crimson Cathedral, and devastates the city-state while influenced by the Calamity and the mature woman phantom 136 137 140 143.

Alais attempts to harvest her Calamity Origin through the Resurrection Coffin. Tina is severely wounded and dies in Wei En's arms, prompting him to use the coffin to resurrect her 144 145.

Recovery and Calamity Origin training

After resurrection, Tina cannot properly enter her dark world, causing calamities to leak into reality. Wei En learns that she must regain control of her Origin rather than remain a passive vessel 161.

Tina remembers her past, reopens the Calamity Origin world, and chooses to train with Wei En to resist being devoured or replaced by Lady Calamity. Her training develops her combat instincts and control over the Calamity Origin 166 168 190.

Alexei Island crisis

The second vessel

Wei En detects another girl named Tina aboard the Golden Dis and concludes that Lady Calamity can have multiple vessels. He infiltrates the pirate forces because another vessel's existence could threaten Tina's autonomy and connection to the Calamity Kingdom 360 361.
