Newt said as he opened the box on his desk:

"I thought of that during the Forbidden Forest incident. Having a box would make things much easier. Although it's not completely finished yet, I believe you can complete it with the addition of a few details."

Seeing that Newt really intended to give him the same briefcase, confirming his earlier guess, Lucien still said:

"Thank you for your kindness. I originally wanted to ask you to help me expand the storage space in my gourd, but isn't this gift a bit too extravagant...?"

But before Lucien could finish speaking, Newt raised his hand to stop him, his tone gentle:

"Lucien, as you said, this is a gift. I remember your birthday is coming up soon, so consider this box an early birthday present."

"Don't say anything more about refusing. This box is perfect for you. Okay, come in and take a look."

Newt had already waved to Lucien, signaling him to come over quickly.

Seeing this, Lucien didn't refuse out of politeness. He accepted Newt's kindness while thinking about how to repay this kindness.

The two stepped into the box.

Lucien was immediately stunned by the sight before him.

An endless grassland.

A warm breeze, carrying the scents of hay and earth, blew in.

The sunlight overhead was soft, bright but not glaring.

A few twisted trees provided shade, a small pond was crystal clear, and there was even a dry, grassy cave nearby.

This floor is the entrance.

Entrance?

Lucien was surprised; was the entrance really that wide?

Newt walked toward what appeared to be an ordinary rock face.

He stretched out his hand, his fingertips tracing a complex path in the air, causing the rock face to ripple like water, revealing a downward, spiraling wooden staircase.

"Come on, let's look at the other floors..."

Lucien followed him down the steps into a completely different environment—a dry, warm desert.

The intense heat hit them in the face, and in the distance, sand dunes undulated. Several lizard-like creatures, their bodies shimmering like jewels, glanced at them warily before quickly burrowing into the sand.

"Each level of space is independent and isolated,"

Newt explained, with a hint of pride in his voice.

"The environment, climate... can all be fine-tuned. The heat of this level won't affect the level above. You can cultivate magical plants that require specific environments here, or... conduct some less stable magical experiments that require isolation."

They crossed the desert, and at the other end, Newt opened another "door".

This time, behind the door was a cold, dark cave, with dew condensing on the stone walls, clearly an ideal home for nocturnal animals or cold-loving creatures.

As expected of the Scamander Family's inherited craftsmanship, the greatly expanded composite space, yet each part is independent, makes this intricate and magical Undetectable Extension Charm container unique to this family.

"My box has been with me through many things, and it has helped me save and protect many lives."

Newt looked at Lucien with a deep and gentle gaze.

"It's safe enough, private enough, and spacious enough to accommodate all your wildest ideas."

Newt then pulled out a small booklet and handed it to Lucien.

"This contains instructions on how to open and repair the box. If you have any questions, just write to me."

"Oh right, I also made some extra improvements to the suitcase. The suitcase can be enlarged or shrunk, and its appearance can also be changed, making it more convenient for you to carry to school."

Lucien took the booklet and sincerely thanked them:

Thank you for your kindness; I will make good use of this gift.

Newt patted Lucien on the shoulder.

"Don't be shy, alright, let's go out for dinner first."

As the two stepped out of the Box World, Newt looked up and saw Tina with her arms crossed.

Tina smiled at Newt, but there was no real smile in her salamander-like eyes.

"Hehe, why are you in such a hurry to take the child away? Let's go, we'll talk about it properly over dinner, what exactly is a 'minor accident'?"

At the dining table.

"Newt, the 'little mishap' you mentioned is that if Lucien hadn't intervened in time, a Killing Curse would have hit you?"

"And then they were separated by a magical barrier. You mean, you're leaving a child alone to face a group of vicious poachers?"

Tina's hands trembled as she held the knife and fork, her words betraying a suppressed fear and anger.

"I can't look my wife in the eye anymore, "Newt stammered.

"Lucien remained very calm at the time; he was very perceptive, and his magic was extremely powerful..."

"There's no need for you to praise Lucien's excellence right now. Also, let's put aside the matter of Rolf going with you to find the Pegasus for now."

Tina gave Newt a look, meaning they'd settle the score later.

The couple's grandson, Rolf Scamander, was unaware that his long-awaited trip was about to be postponed due to some unforeseen circumstances.

Tina looked at Lucien again, her eyes filled with heartache and apology:

"I'm sorry, Lucien, I was planning to take you out, but Newt didn't take good care of you this time either."

Lucien sat up straight and looked at Tina with sincere eyes:

"Grandma Tina, please don't apologize. It was a battle fought side by side. Mr. Scamander taught me so much; he was my mentor and my friend. No wizard would stand idly by when a friend is in danger."

Tina sighed.

"You're such a thoughtful child."

Lucien smiled.

"My Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts taught me that when facing dangerous enemies, the most important things are calmness and sharpness. I just happened to put that into practice."

Quirrell did indeed teach this phrase, and Tom even demonstrated it himself later.

Hearing this, Tina nodded, her gaze towards Lucien softening even more.

Newt told me that you're a good kid who loves learning.

"How about this, after we've eaten, we can talk about other things, like Defense Against the Dark Arts, combat techniques. I used to be Auror in the US, maybe that will interest you."

"That's wonderful, it's my honor."

Lucien's eyes lit up. This seemingly amiable lady was an exceptionally talented Auror in her youth.

They've arrested countless Acolytes in the US; they're just chasing after Grindelwald's followers.

Unlike Newt, who uses Magical Creatures to aid him in battle, Tina is a true fighter.

The elite Auror lived through that turbulent era all possessed genuine skills.

Moreover, Lucien would certainly not refuse the opportunity to learn more.

After the meal, Lucien learned a lot of practical magic and skills from Tina.

During the process, Tina truly realized the child's amazing talent.

The spells were easy to grasp; after a few tries, they became second nature to Tina. Tina was also pleasantly surprised by their reactions during practice matches.

"Lucien, to be honest, you're a really good Auror prospect!"

Upon hearing this, Newt quickly looked over.

"Um, um, Tina, Lucien, he actually..."

Tina glanced at Newt.

"Oh, do you think something's wrong?"

"..."

Having acquired the same suitcase Newt, received spells and techniques from Tina, and witnessed Newt's family dynamics, Lucien bid farewell to the two with satisfaction.

Just as Lucien was about to summon the Liuguang, a ball of crimson flame suddenly erupted beside him.

Fawkes flew out and handed Lucien a letter.
