The Martial Soul Copier Explained-Level 50 in a Year and a Half!
Bibi Dong pouted, quite dissatisfied. "How can these nobles be like this? Teacher, isn't there any way we can help them?"
Bibi Dong herself was an orphan, so she had a lot of empathy for these people.
Qian Xunji shook his head. "It's difficult. If they appear near my Spirit Hall, then naturally we can let them join the Spirit Hall directly."
"But this type of slave generally only exists in the auction houses of the capitals of the Two Empires."
"And you should also know that those who can afford to bid on such slaves are generally nobles. If they're not royalty, then they're members of major sects."
"Whether it's the royal family or people from other sects, we, the Spirit Hall, cannot afford to offend them."
"There's another point," Qian Xunji glanced at Bibi Dong and shook his head, "Our Spirit Hall Spirit Hall can't keep track of these slaves indefinitely, so we won't be too clear about when they entered the auction house or when they were bought."
"If we happen to be there, we'll definitely save them if we can, but if we're not, then that's probably their fate."
In Qian Xunji's eyes, perhaps they really were pitiful.
However, there are many more pitiful people on this Douluo Continent than them.
Even the Spirit Hall couldn't possibly save everyone; they simply couldn't.
Subsequently, Qian Xunji sent people to gather information about his Body Martial Soul.
Furthermore, the Spirit Hall would negotiate with the royal family or the major sects. If the other party was willing to give up slaves with beast-like characteristics, the Spirit Hall could buy them for several times the price.
Generally speaking, both the royal family and sects like the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect School would give the Spirit Hall some face.
They had no idea why the Spirit Hall suddenly wanted these slaves.
But!
These slaves were nothing more than playthings to the royal family.
For the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect School, it might be a plaything, or it might be something they want to cultivate into a member of the school's fighting force.
But regardless of the reason, it's not worth offending the Spirit Hall for their sake.
Qian Xunji did this so that it would be easier for Yu Changge to conduct her research.
During this process, Yu Changge was also paired with several theoretical Grandmaster from the Spirit Hall so that they could discuss things together.
The so-called research was actually just to observe the cultivation status of these "slaves" and whether any "mutations" would occur as their cultivation improved.
This is a long-term research task.
The number of slaves collected by the Spirit Hall was actually not large, only five in total.
Two catwomen, one leopard woman, one tiger woman, and one cat man.
There are relatively few men.
As for why, those who know, know.
Compared to men, women bring more fun and excitement!
Hmm... unless some nobleman has a questionable sexual orientation.
Through the Martial Soul Replicator, Yu Changge could roughly determine whether these people's Martial Soul could be considered their Body Martial Soul.
[Detected that the target possesses Mutated Martial Soul: Full Body (Nether Cat), copy?]
[Detected that the target possesses Mutated Martial Soul: Full Body (Cheetah). Copy?]
[...]
Upon seeing these prompts, Yu Changge sighed.
Good news, it is indeed the Body Martial Soul.
The bad news isn't entirely about the Body Martial Soul.
If he chooses to copy the other person's Martial Soul, he will become the same as the other person.
Generally speaking, when he uses this Martial Soul Replicator to sense the Martial Soul possessed by others, there is no parenthesis after it.
The presence of parentheses indicates that this Martial Soul has significant limitations.
This isn't the kind of full-body Martial Soul he wants.
The most normal, and the rarest, is the full-body Martial Soul, or the "True Self" Martial Soul, which uses the entire body as the Martial Soul, including the torso, limbs, head, eyes, and so on.
In this way, he can enhance his body however he wants in the future, and he can go all-around, which can increase physical strength, speed, and mental power.
Of course, it's just a thought for now.
None of these five people possess this type of Martial Soul.
The fact that it belongs to a type that mutates towards the Body Martial Soul, but the mutation is incomplete, and it still retains some characteristics of the Beast Martial Soul, is the best evidence.
Afterwards, Yu Changge went to find Gui Mei and had a serious discussion with him about his Martial Soul.
[Detected a Mutated Martial Soul: Soul. Copy?]
He only recently discovered that this Martial Soul Replicator could detect how another person's Martial Soul was being used.
I didn't notice it before, mainly because he never even considered using it.
After all, given his level and the fact that he recognized some of the Martial Soul he encountered, there was no need to copy them, and therefore no detection mechanism was triggered.
Later, he also learned about it through the system.
Instructions for using this Martial Soul Replicator.
First: The copied Martial Soul should ideally be of similar quality to the First Martial Soul.
Second: The copied Martial Soul will adapt to the host.
The first point goes without saying; he already knew the conditions for the creation of Twin Martial Souls.
If the qualities are not similar, the inferior one will be devoured by the superior one.
As for the second point, he really didn't quite understand it.
The system's answer is:
1. Innate Soul Power adaptive.
If Yu Changge chooses to copy the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon as his Second Martial Soul, and the person being copied has Innate Soul Power of level nine, then after copying, the Martial Soul will automatically adapt to Yu Changge's own innate talent.
Second: Adaptive Martial Soul Form.
If Yu Changge chooses to copy his Body Martial Soul as his Second Martial Soul, then after copying, the Martial Soul will adapt to become a part of Yu Changge's own body.
After all, Body Martial Soul must be a part of one's own body; only then can it be called Body Martial Soul.
The Martial Soul Replicator copies the "essence" of the other party's Martial Soul, rather than simply "copying and pasting"!
Three: Adaptive growth of Martial Soul.
If you choose to copy a Martial Soul that has growth potential but a low starting point, then that Martial Soul will automatically match the quality of your First Martial Soul.
That concludes the system's answer to Yu Changge.
Having owned the Hextech System for so many years, he originally thought that after the five-choose-three option, the system would simply disappear. Unexpectedly, the "after-sales service" was quite good.
Time passed.
A year and a half has passed.
Yu Changge is now twelve and a half years old, but his Soul Power has already reached level fifty!
In a year and a half, I went from level 44 to level 50.
The Soul Power at levels 47 and 50 was granted by [Level Up].
In other words, he increases his Soul Power by one level every four months on average, which is considered a normal rate of improvement.
In Qian Xunji's eyes, his rate of improvement was terrifyingly fast. He had improved six levels in a year and a half, even faster than Dong'er!
Of course, he still attributed it to Yu Changge's Martial Soul; perhaps... External Beast Martial Soul are just that special.
P. S.: Guys, do you have any thoughts on the protagonist's later Soul Skill? Feel free to share them!
Regarding the Fifth Soul Skill, my idea is this: to put it simply and directly All-Attribute Amplification Soul Skill.
I initially considered AoE Soul Skill, but since the fourth Soul Skill, "Sacred Dragon Roar," is already AoE Mental Attack with a strong stun, there's no need to acquire a group attack Soul Skill for now. (I slightly changed the name of the fourth Soul Skill to make it more intuitive, although it's a bit corny, hahaha)
