Background / History

Qian Xunji is the reigning Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall and the son of Qian Daoliu, a Peerless Douluo. Though proud of the Angel Clan's standing, he initially considers his own talent limited compared with his father's and places considerable hope in his disciple, Bibi Dong. He believes her twin martial souls can eventually carry Spirit Hall to a greater height. 33 65 75

He first encounters Yu Changge while escorting Bibi Dong to obtain her second soul ring. Identifying Yu Tianqing as a member of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, he politely explains that the Shadow Poison Demon Spider is intended for Bibi Dong and apologizes for disturbing the family. 19

Intrigued by Yu Changge's mutated martial soul, unusually rapid progress despite half-rank innate soul power, and possible cultivation method, Qian Xunji permits him to study in Spirit Hall.
