Background / History

Kahn served as the headmaster of Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy and accompanied Tang San to the Hunting Soul Forest to obtain Tang San's second soul ring. There, they encountered Li Qinglian while he absorbed the Red Flame Golden Roc's roughly three-thousand-year soul ring. Kahn, a Soul Ancestor who had cultivated for half his life to reach that realm, was deeply shocked by Li Qinglian's feat. 15 16

After noticing the golden light from the Red Flame Golden Roc's wings, Kahn suspected the remains contained an External Soul Bone. He initially posed as a polite academy headmaster seeking to purchase materials, but demanded the wings once Huo Wu confirmed their importance. 16

When Huo Wu refused to surrender the wings, Kahn discarded all restraint. He threatened to murder Li Qinglian, Huo Wu, and potentially Tang San to conceal the theft, while also making lustful threats toward Huo Wu. He justified the seizure by claiming that the External Soul Bone could further improve Tang San's talent. 16

Following Li Qinglian's successful absorption of the Red Flame Golden Roc soul ring, Kahn fought him despite Li Qinglian having only just reached the Grand Soul Master realm. Li Qinglian and Huo Wu restrained and harassed him with coordinated fire-attribute attacks, leaving Kahn weakened. 17

Tang San then exploited Kahn's weakened state, ambushing him with three Sleeve Arrows. Kahn died in disbelief after realizing that the student he had brought to the forest had turned on him. 17

Soul Ancestor Cultivation

Kahn was a Soul Ancestor, placing him far above the level-26 Huo Wu and the newly advanced two-ring Li Qinglian during their confrontation. 16 17

• His superior cultivation allowed him to pressure Huo Wu and rapidly close the distance after she evaded his attacks. 16
• He broke free from Li Qinglian's Fire Phoenix Entanglement and struck Li Qinglian hard enough to knock him back more than ten steps. 17
