Xue Beng was raised under Prince Xue Xing's protection and guidance. Xue Xing initially instructed him to hide his abilities, but changed course after Ning Fengzhi agreed to accept Xue Beng as a disciple; Xue Xing then provided him with the Golden Light Mantra so he could cultivate openly and qualify for the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament. 40

Emperor Xue Ye gave Xue Beng a Ten Thousand Year Wind Tiger Right Arm Bone, then instructed Xue Xing to purchase four additional Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones so that Xue Beng's total soul-bone cultivation years would match those given to Lin Ya. 84

At age twelve, Xue Beng entered Heaven Dou Royal Academy alongside Lin Ya and Ning Zun. His unusually courteous behavior contrasted sharply with his spoiled reputation in the original timeline; he treated the other students as future classmates rather than demanding formal deference. 107 108

During the tournament's internal Heaven Dou match, Xue Beng endured a coordinated seven-on-one assault until Lin Ya shielded and healed him. Heaven Dou vs. Star Luo
