Bibi Dong originally wanted to leave Spirit Hall and live with Yu Xiaogang. Qian Xunji prevented her departure by knocking her unconscious, imprisoning her in a secret chamber, and sexually assaulting her. She subsequently gave birth to Qian Renxue. Her hatred of Qian Xunji extended to Spirit Hall, which she regarded as the institution that had shackled her life 350.

She later killed and devoured Qian Xunji, awakening the Rakshasa inheritance. Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, who had served the previous Pope, transferred their allegiance to her. Her appointment as Pope coincided with the year Lin Ya awakened his martial soul 189 340 350.

Her position did not give her uncontested control. Qian Daoliu commanded the Worship Hall, while Qian Renxue retained the hereditary claim to Spirit Hall’s leadership. Their factional divisions limited Bibi Dong’s ability to mobilize the organization freely 212 332 337.

Her ruthlessness is often calculated rather than aimless. After learning that Lin Ya is a Heaven Dou prince, she plans to capture and brainwash him, then return him as a future puppet emperor. She accepts the reputational cost of attacking him publicly because she considers his continued growth a greater danger to Spirit Hall 212.

She deduces that he must possess powerful soul bones and orders Yue Guan and Gui Mei to kill him, offering them any excess bones. When Yue Guan returns with an account of Lin Ya’s overwhelming strength, she remains skeptical and decides to verify it herself 189 196.

At the tournament, she discovers that soul beasts can survive beyond a hundred thousand years and intervenes to protect Spirit Hall’s contestants. She then offers Lin Ya the position of Holy Son. His refusal and revelation as Emperor Xue Ye’s son end her recruitment effort 210 212.

Using the disappearance of Spirit Hall elders as a pretext, she attempts to seize him with multiple Titled Douluo. Her actual plan is to brainwash him and exploit his succession to control Heaven Dou. Allied with Star Luo, she confronts Lin Ya as the Rakshasa God. He overpowers her aura, stops her scythe, and immobilizes her with Spacetime Imprisonment. Qian Renxue arrives as the Angel God and saves her from a divine lightning strike 353 354 355.
