Background and History
Emperor Xue Ye entrusts his infant son Xue Ya, later known as Lin Ya, to Xue Xing to keep him hidden from threats to the imperial family. Xue Xing takes the child out of the palace under Soul Master concealment and arranges for him to grow up near Notting City under an ordinary surname 1. Six years later, he personally conducts Lin Ya’s martial soul awakening rather than allow a Spirit Hall deacon near him 3.
After discovering Lin Ya’s Twin Martial Souls and Innate Full Soul Power, Xue Xing urges him to conceal the royal White Swan Martial Soul and takes him to obtain his first soul ring with a powerful escort 4 5. He later secures ores, craftsmen, workers, and Soul Masters for Lin Ya’s projects, delivering a contingent of roughly two thousand people to Biyou Village 35 39 48.
Xue Xing also helps Xue Ye investigate the supposed Crown Prince Xue Qinghe.
