Hunt for Li Ming

After Dodoria is killed by Li Ming, Frieza orders Zarbon, the Ginyu Force, and Vegeta to hunt the unknown Saiyan. The incident renews his paranoia over the Super Saiyan legend and Planet Vegeta's destruction. 13

The Ginyu Force is subsequently wiped out by Li Ming, depriving Frieza of his strongest available subordinates. Frieza responds by placing a bounty on Li Ming: anyone who delivers the Saiyan's head may claim three planets. 15 21

Escalation Across the Galaxy

Frieza's pursuit spreads chaos across the galaxy. He personally follows Li Ming's trail, destroys a planet after being tricked by a false signal, and turns his rage against both his own troops and the Galactic Patrol. 27
