Background / History

Sea Dragon Douluo was among the Seven Sacred Pillar Douluos who observed Huang Long's martial soul awakening from the City Lord's Manor. He identified Huang Long as the infant who had been carried safely to Sea God Island by sea soul beasts during a violent storm six years earlier. 1

After Huang Long awakened the Yinglong martial soul, Sea Dragon Douluo led the Sacred Pillar Douluos down to the awakening plaza and ordered the immediate testing of Huang Long's innate soul power. 2 He later helped obtain dragon-blooded sea soul beasts for Huang Long's soul rings and was entrusted by Bo Saixi to continue finding suitable high-bloodline dragon-type soul beasts for him. 4 6

Huang Long subsequently lived at Sea Dragon City's City Lord's Manor, where Sea Dragon Douluo arranged attendants for his daily needs. 6 He also provided whale jelly for Huang Long's body-refinement regimen after initially misunderstanding its purpose. 8
